On the off chance you didn't know, gratitude is the most powerful force in the universe. You want more good things in life? Start by being grateful for what you already have. Can't think of anything? Start with being grateful you have eyes to see, ability to read, some kind of technology, and the connection to read this. Good things won't come into your life if they see you don't appreciate what you already have. Best practice: make a list in an app or in the back of a notebook that you can read and add to frequently! #gratitude

What occurred to me many years ago as theory has now become clear to me today as an irresistible truth by reason of close to 3 decades of field engagements: a family, community, or nation deserves the kind of young people it raises. If our precious children are either beneficiaries or casualties of our example, then the behavior, lifestyle, and habits of our precious children - good, bad, or ugly - is an undisputable report card or returns on investment of our EXAMPLE. It is time to stop blaming our precious young people for the lifestyle we permitted and inculcated by our examples. I think it is a simple matter; if we don't like what we see in the mirror, we don't blame or break the mirror. We change ourselves!
