Sachin Tendulkar is back. The Master Blaster is set to make his comeback to cricket with the launch of the International Masters League, whose first season to be held this year. The tournament features six teams –India, England, Australia, Sri Lanka, South Africa in West Indies – and will set the stage for some old rivalries to rekindle as the stars of yesteryears promise come together under a competitive environment. Although the dates haven't been locked yet, the tournament will be played in November across Mumbai, Lucknow and Raipur. The IML has come together as a result of a collaboration between Tendulkar and his idol, the one and only Sunil Gavaskar, who has been appointed as the commissioner of the league. Tendulkar and Gavaskar will be working closely with PMG Sports and Sportfive, two of India's most renowned sports management companies. Amid the growing popularity of tournaments featuring retired international cricketers such as the Legends League Cricket, World Championship of Legends and the Road Safety World Series, the IML comes as a breath of fresh air as it promises a more competitive and serious series of matches. Leading a star-studded list of cricketers is the great Tendulkar himself, who continues to be adored, admired and idolised by millions of fans in India. By the time the tournament starts, Tendulkar would have been retired from all forms of competitive cricket for 11 years, but the will to turn up once more and hopefully create magic on the 22 yards despite being 51 year old is what drives Sachin's competitive spirit. "Cricket continues to grow in popularity not just in India, but across the world. In the last decade, T20 cricket has accelerated its adoption, and has drawn new fans into the game. There is now a strong desire among fans across ages, to re-witness age-old battles in newer formats. Sportspersons never retire at heart, and the competitive streak within, waits for an opportunity to get back on the field," Tendulkar said. #sachintendulkar #viralpost #indiancricket #india #sport #LatestNews #trendingnews #latest #thecliffnews

#Indian super league The season runs from September to March and includes a 22-round regular season followed by playoffs involving the top six teams, culminating with the ISL Final to determine the champions. At the end of the regular season, the team with the most points is declared the premiers and presented with the League Winners' Shield. Currently, the league only follows promotion in the promotion and relegation processes. ISL clubs qualify for the Asian continental club competitions; regular season premiers qualify directly for the subsequent season's AFC Champions League 2 group stage. The competition was founded on 21 October 2013 to grow the sport of football in India and increase its exposure in the country. Play began in October 2014 with eight teams. During its first three seasons, the competition operated without official recognition from the Asian Football Confederation (AFC), the governing body for the sport in Asia. It was structured along the same lines as the Indian Premier League, the country's premier Twenty20 franchise-based cricket competition. Each season lasted just three months, from October to December, and matches were held daily. However, before the 2017–18 season, the league expanded to ten teams, expanded its schedule to six months, and earned recognition from the AFC. Since the league's inaugural season, six clubs have won the championship: ATK (3), Chennaiyin (2), Bengaluru (1), Mumbai City (1), Hyderabad (1) and Mohun Bagan (1). Since the introduction of the League Winners' Shield in the 2019–20 season, Mumbai City has won it twice, while Jamshedpur and Goa have won once each. Mumbai City is the only team to have won the ISL Final and the League Winners' Shield in the same season, which they achieved in the 2020–21 season. #snsinstitutions #snsdesignthinkers #snsdesignthinking

🏏 Historic Run Chases at Wankhede Stadium! Wankhede Stadium has seen some thrilling Test cricket over the years, with teams battling to chase down targets between 100-200 runs. Out of these rare occasions, only one team has succeeded! As India faces New Zealand with a target of 147, it seems achievable in today’s game—but Test cricket is always unpredictable, pushing every player to their limits. Will India pull off the chase this time around? 🏆 Notable Run Chases at Wankhede: 1) South Africa vs India (2000): Chased down 163 with 6 wickets in hand, showcasing discipline and grit. 2) West Indies vs India (1987): Set a modest target of 118 but finished at 1/4, resulting in a draw. 3) Australia vs India (2004): Set a target of 107 but India collapsed for just 93, highlighting Wankhede’s challenging conditions. #CricketHistory #TestCricket #WankhedeStadium #IndiaVsNZ #CricketIndia #SportsAnalysis

#CelebratingTheUnsungHeroes Raghavendra Dwivedi's Journey from Graveyard to Glory In the grand arena of sports, we often celebrate the players on the field, but behind every victory lies the relentless effort of those working quietly in the background. One such unsung hero is Raghavendra Dwivedi, better known as Raghu, Team India's throwdown specialist. From humble beginnings in Kumta, Karnataka, Raghu's journey is a tale of resilience and passion. At a young age, he left home with just 21 rupees in his pocket, driven by a dream to make it big in cricket. Despite facing numerous challenges, including living in a graveyard for four and a half years, Raghu's determination never wavered. After a hand injury ended his playing career, Raghu transitioned to coaching. His dedication and unique skills in delivering high-speed throwdowns quickly caught the attention of cricketing greats. Former Indian coach John Wright and cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar recognized his talent, leading to his inclusion in the Indian team's support staff in 2011. Virat Kohli, one of India's most prolific batsmen, once said, "Facing Raghu's 150 kph deliveries in the nets makes the fastest bowlers seem like medium pacers during matches." Such testimonials highlight the significant impact Raghu has had on the team's success, often working behind the scenes without much recognition. It is very nice of big stars like Virat, Rahul Dravid, Rohit, and others to recognize the contributions of these unsung heroes. Raghu's story is a powerful reminder of the importance of those who support and elevate the team from the background. His journey from a small town in Karnataka to becoming a crucial part of India's cricketing success is nothing short of inspiring. There are other support staff too who help India to be a potent force in world cricket, and I may write about them later. Do we know the background heroes who make us look good on the big stage in whatever we are doing & do we recognize them enough & include them in our winning endeavors? #Cricket #Inspiration #TeamWork #UnsungHeroes #Dedication #Sportsmanship #IndianCricket

Rohit Sharma's Masterful Leadership Clinches Series Win for Young India India's recent Test series victory against England, a team touted as their strongest ever touring contingent, deserves a standing ovation. This triumph goes a long way in highlighting the exceptional leadership of Rohit Sharma. Sharma, ably supported by senior players like Jasprit Bumrah and Ravichandran Ashwin, orchestrated a remarkable 4-1 series win. The victory is even more significant considering the inexperience of the Indian team. The squad featured exciting debuts for Sarfaraz Khan, Rajat Patidar, Rahul Paddikal, and Mukesh Kumar. Youngsters like KS Bharat, Yashasvi Jaiswal, and Akash Deep also gained valuable experience. Sharma's ability to guide and motivate this relatively inexperienced team deserves immense credit. The 4-1 scoreline, achieved even with Bumrah missing a match and the absence of stalwarts like Virat Kohli, Cheteshwar Pujara, and Ajinkya Rahane, speaks volumes of his leadership. A Round of Applause for Rohit Sharma and Ajit Agarkar: Sharma's brilliance as captain is undeniable. However, it's important to acknowledge the astute selection of the Indian Cricket Board's selection committee, headed by Ajit Agarkar. Their faith in young talent, combined with Sharma's captaincy, has borne fruit. This win signifies the dawn of a new era for Indian Test cricket, and both Sharma and Agarkar deserve a round of applause for their roles in shaping this success. #sports #sportsperformance #sportsmanagement #bcci #rohitsharma #indvsengtest

The Border-Gavaskar Trophy is always a fiercely contested battle between arch-rivals India and Australia. This time, the series is being played on Australian soil, giving the Aussies a perceived edge with their familiarity with the pitches and conditions. Expectations were high for Australia to dominate, especially with India missing key players like their star opener Rohit Sharma and ace pacer Mohammad Shami. On the first day of the Test, things didn’t start well for India. Renowned Australian bowlers like Mitchell Starc and Pat Cummins were in top form, dismantling India’s batting lineup. Even Virat Kohli, known for his consistency, couldn’t make a big impact. India was bowled out for a modest 150 runs in the first innings. Just when it seemed like the match was slipping away, Jasprit Bumrah stepped up, not just as a bowler but as a leader. Now captaining the side, "Jassi" delivered a mesmerizing spell of bowling, making the Australian batters struggle and, quite literally, dance to his rhythm. His confidence and skill on the field were nothing short of spectacular, leaving fans and commentators in awe. If you were to ask Alexa, “Play Jasprit Bumrah,” she’d probably say, “Jassi is unplayable right now!” With this fiery start, let’s hope India can capitalize on the momentum and kick off the series with a win. Consistency like this could make all the difference. #India #Indiavsaustralia #Cricket #Bordergavaskar #Testcricket #Indianteam

So New Zealand in the end has comprehensively beaten India by 8 wickets and ended their winning run at home. The Kiwis end their 36 year wait to win a Test match in India. India's decision to bat first on a tricky first day wicket in Bangalore in the end became the turning point and will be a talking point leading into the second test. Despite India's comeback with the bat in the second innings with knocks from Kohli, Sarfaraz and Pant, the Kiwis rested the initiative by picking up wickets late in the final session on day 4. That was another defining phase of the game. The first Test win by the Kiwis has now set up the series beautifully. India now must win the next two tests in Pune and Mumbai to maintain pole position on the WTC points table. India must win this series and the next against Australia to book a berth in the final. Results of other corresponding Test matches will have a bearing on India's fortunes of making the final. With losing the first test against New Zealand situation of WTC final becomes more complex for India. If New Zealand wins this Test series then they will strengthen their spot for WTC final and if India wins this by 2-1 then India will have to defeat Australia in BGT by 3-1, 3-0, 4-0, 2-0. Australia vs Sri Lanka result will also be crucial. Thus a lot to think about for India in the next two Tests. #INDvsNZ #WTC25 #RaceToMace

The Art of Precision: Jasprit Bumrah , A Master of All Formats When Australia, a cricketing powerhouse, creates a special video to honour Jasprit Bumrah, it’s a testament to how far Indian cricket has come on the global stage. There was a time when Australian cricket dominated the world, proud of their performances, but today, they acknowledge India as a perfect competitor—especially this modern team, which is fearless and formidable. The foundation for this transformation was laid years ago by Sourav Ganguly. His leadership sowed the seeds of belief, aggression, and a winning mentality into the Indian cricket team. That seed has now blossomed into a force that competes fiercely and commands respect worldwide. Jasprit Bumrah, with his unorthodox action and unmatched skill, symbolizes this evolution. Whether it’s his fiery Yorkers clocking over 146 km/h or his ability to swing the ball both ways with precision, he has become one of the most feared bowlers in the world. His execution is near perfect, and his impact? Simply game-changing. For Indian cricket, the journey from being challengers to equals—and sometimes dominators—has been nothing short of inspiring. Hats off to players like Bumrah and the legacy left by Sourav Ganguly, who dared to dream big. 👏 This incredible video was released by Fox Cricket on their YouTube channel , showcasing the respect Cricket Australia now has for Jasprit Bumrah and Indian cricket Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). What do you think about this evolution of Indian cricket? #JaspritBumrah #IndianCricket #ModernCricket #SouravGanguly #CricketLegends #Australia #Sportsmanship #FoxCricket #CricketAustralia #SportsEvolution #allformat #bestbowler
