It is not about finance. Money will enter one door, and exit thru other door, because it is the nature of financing this type of issues. It is about real limitations to polluters like the 140,000 flights per day worldwide (source Flightradar 24), just to mention one example. How to ask for more money if almost everybody is waiting for the first available opportunity to catch a plane? Did “someone” hear about mass turism? 1.5 bn people moving around the world this year. That is pollution. Financing will not prevent any disaster.

Equitably sharing both the benefits and responsibilities of addressing climate change is at the heart of achieving a just and sustainable future. As a stellar Servant and Transformational leader, I am a graduate of UNDP and UNITAR. It's my distinct honor to join the world's largest team of leaders and experts at the 2024 UN COP29, taking place in Baku, Azerbaijan. My participation includes OECD events from Nov 4-22, and UNFCCC at COP 29 from Nov 11-22. I consider this opportunity as a sign of respect from the international community to what I am doing in the areas of green energy, climate change, circular, green and blue economies
