Major props to one of the giants of ResProp Management, Angela Aguilar, celebrating her five-year anniversary with our team! 👉 Angela is a standout leader in so many ways. Most importantly, she’s a servant leader – she’s always hyper-attentive to the needs of the teams she leads, and digs in to help them get the work done – never afraid to dive deep and help push things forward. 💥But Angela is also a fierce competitor. Think about the affect Michael Jordan had on anyone who played on the same court–he elevated everyone’s game. On Michael’s court, you can't just show up and play–you come and give it your ALL. 👉 Same with Angela – when she commits to anything, it instantly motivates the team and suddenly they find a new gear to complete something that was previously unreachable. It’s a pleasure to work with you Angela – it’s been great fun (with a huge dose of HARD WORK) to build out ResProp with you. Last word here – Angela’s work ethic is unmatched. You literally have to peel her away from her work. This passion is infectious and again, is something that motivates everyone around her. Can’t wait to see what the next 5 years bring us–and while we’re at it, let’s make it 50 more! #workanniversary #leader #FAWOMO

As the year comes to a close, I can’t help but reflect on what 2024 has meant for us at Food For Education, especially when it comes to employee engagement. Our team is the heartbeat of everything we do, and their dedication is what fuels our mission to create lasting impact for the children and communities we serve. Truly, when people feel engaged, connected, and valued, they bring their whole selves to work - and that’s where the magic happens! Driving engagement isn’t just a box to tick- it’s about nurturing a culture where belonging, purpose, and connection thrive; and building a team that feels seen, valued, and inspired to bring their best every single day. This year, we leaned into some simple (but truly impactful) actions that have made all the difference: ✨ Listening deeply: We opened up more spaces to hear our team—through performance conversations, townhalls, employee satisfaction surveys, team check-ins, and even those casual chats that turn into powerful conversations that inform business process. ✨ Celebrating our people: From shining a light on individual wins to cheering on team milestones (all of which absolutely blew us away!), we showed up to recognize and appreciate the contributions that drive our work ✨ Living our values: Whether in the day-to-day grind or moments of team connection, our shared purpose grounded us, kept us resilient, and reminded us why we do what we do. I'm learning that significant impact often occurs not only during grand, dramatic events but more so through small, seemingly insignificant interactions, decisions, and experiences that accumulate over time, gradually shaping team dynamics. Retrospectively, I’m filled with admiration and gratitude for the dedication, energy, resilience, and heart of every team member who has made this journey possible. Cheers to you Nyawira Njoroge CHRP (K) Irene Kimani Betty Maingi Eva Njaaga Mohamed Abdalla Ian Gitonga Precious Mwinzi. Thank you for your active leadership Wairimu Nyandia. Here’s to even greater connection and growth in 2025! 🚀

When you love who you work with… Every day feels more fulfilling Every task seems more manageable And every goal appears more achievable. It’s not just about having fun, it’s about celebrating together. Celebrations bind us, reminding us that our efforts have meaning beyond the bottom line. They reinforce our connections and energize us to push forward, together. So, take a moment to look around at your team. These are the people who battle alongside you in the trenches, who share in your struggles, and who cheer on your victories. And remember, celebrating doesn’t require a fancy gala or big party. Small acknowledgments can have a big impact. A spontaneous lunch, a team shout-out in a meeting, or a simple thank-you note can uplift spirits and strengthen bonds. Do what works for you, but most importantly, remember: Celebrate every win, big or small.

The hardest win to celebrate is one that goes from a 75% probability, to 90%, to 95%, to 98%, to 99%... Here are 3 things I've seen work to keep these wins from landing with a vibes thud: 1) Draw a line in the sand and make it clear that THIS is when we celebrate 2) Provide something to look forward to and to mark the occasion when it happens (a great meal together, a day off, a bonus, etc.) 3) Pull up to 100k feet and repeatedly communicate the progress over the course of the engagement, "look how far we've come in the past two quarters" What have you seen work well?

TIME TO CELEBRATE! It’s important to pause and reflect on the progress we've made—both individually and as a team. - Professionally and personally too. In the hustle of day-to-day tasks, it’s easy to overlook how far we’ve come. This year has been full of challenges, wins, and growth, and it's essential to take a moment to appreciate our hard work and the strides we've made—personally and professionally. Whether it's new skills acquired, goals achieved, or moments of resilience, every step counts. As a team, we've collaborated, supported one another, and pushed toward shared goals. Together, we've achieved more than we might realise. As Robert Collier says: "Success is the sum of small efforts, repeated day in and day out." What are you most proud of in 2024? Please share and inspire each other as we reflect on our journeys to date.

Celebrating Our Everyday Heroes 🌟 Today, we want to take a moment to celebrate some very special people in our company — the ones who often work quietly behind the scenes but whose impact is felt everywhere. Imagine how powerful it is to work in a place where everyone feels appreciated, no matter their role or title. It’s a place where people are motivated not just by their paycheck but by the feeling that they are part of something bigger, that their work is making a difference. That’s the kind of culture we should all strive to build — one where recognition is not just a formality but a heartfelt expression of gratitude. Recognition isn’t just about giving credit where it’s due — it’s about truly seeing and appreciating the individuals who make our company what it is. When we take the time to acknowledge the efforts of our non-management team members, we’re not just boosting morale; we’re showing them that their contributions matter, that they are valued, and that they are essential to our success. So, here’s to the people who show up every day with dedication and drive, who put their heart into their work, and who help us achieve our goals. Your efforts might not always be in the spotlight, but they are deeply valued and appreciated. Thank you for everything you do. 💙👏 Let’s continue to celebrate each other and make our workplace a place where everyone’s contributions are recognized and cherished.
