To qualify for permanent and total disability status, veterans need a "total disability that is permanent in nature." This status is granted when a veteran has a 100 percent disability rating due to service-connected disabilities or when these disabilities render them unemployable. The law requires that the impairment is expected to persist for the veteran's lifetime. While the VA sometimes grants Permanent and Total (P&T) status automatically, it’s not guaranteed. Veterans can actively pursue P&T status by crafting a strong disability letter and getting support from their healthcare providers. Feeling lost in the claim process? I can help you find your way. 👉 https://buff.ly/3yp8fwd #veteranshelpingveterans #veterancare #veteransupport
