On point! This trend is being noticed by all seniors including me. We're observing a significant shift in how newer physiotherapy students and professionals are navigating their careers. And I suppose it is good but not at cost of networking, respect & core physiotherapy. First issue: The rise of social media has certainly opened up new avenues for visibility and income, but as you pointed out, it might be at the cost of traditional networking and core skill development. Eg.on Instagram, almost all (student admins) are buying the followers (non physiotherapy followers majorly) and then charging huge from us for collaboration. This really is like new 'career' for physiotherapy students & newbie physio professionals. But they are not seeing the opportunity to network with seniors which will help them grow. We professionals of more than 15 years experience do understand its importance. We never know when we can need someone! Second, the new generation physios are running after the technique workshops but not actual rehabilitation, core physiotherapy. In short, building a strong professional network and focusing on the fundamentals of physiotherapy, like rehabilitation, is crucial for long-term success. These aspects might not seem as immediately rewarding as social media influence, but they create a foundation that can sustain a career over decades. There are many such examples I can highlight but some other day.

REMINDER FOR INDIAN SPORTS PHYSIOTHERAPY STUDENTS & PHYSIOTHERAPISTS! Start respecting your Seniors, Heads and those who are there to help you and provide you with those ladders by climbing to which you reach International Tours and Olympics! Having more than 9 years of Experience I have helped several Physios to height and will keep helping them without a question, this is my Nature. But lately I have been noticing Physios of new generation i.e. after 2017 they are full of Attitude, full of Arrogance and Ignorance as well without gaining or achieving anything or something in Profession for themselves. When I am offering some Voluntary work In Sports at Top Levels like Hockey India they are not ready to look at the Bigger picture but asking for Renumeration in the first place and not the Exposures and Certificate from Hockey India. However, even the Renumeration was done to those who came to work with me Voluntarily. Five Star Hotel stays, fooding & travels all being taken care of- The Lavish life of Sports Physiotherapists which they enjoy along with work. National & International Athletes to work with what they get through me. Since being at senior level I am making my own list of those but they denied whom I offered and later I will reject them. “Time is the biggest Wrestler”. I have “n number” of Sports physios who are lined up because they are more interested, dedicated, hard working and more professional in socialising, respecting their Seniors & Mentors. RESPECT, LEARN & GROW

TRX Insights - The Science behind TRX Suspension Training Starting the new week off with a summary of another study done on TRX Suspension Training Study Title: Effect of TRX vs. Hopping Exercises on Balance in Male University Athletes Purpose and Methods: Conducted by the University of Tehran's Department of Sport Pathology and Corrective Exercises, this study compared the effects of TRX suspension exercises and hopping drills on the balance of male university athletes aged 20-28. Thirty-six athletes from volleyball, basketball, soccer, and handball teams were randomly assigned to control, TRX exercise, or hopping exercise groups. Each group performed their respective routines three times per week over four weeks (12 sessions total). The Biodex balance system assessed static and dynamic balance pre- and post-intervention. Statistical analysis included paired t-tests and ANCOVA with a Bonferroni post-hoc test. Exercises Used: TRX Exercise Group: Progressively challenging exercises using suspension equipment, such as jump squats, lunges, and dynamic hopping drills. Hopping Exercise Group: Single-leg hopping drills including side-to-side, forward-backward, zigzag, and figure-eight hops. Results: Both TRX and hopping groups significantly improved static and dynamic balance compared to controls (P≤0.05). There was no significant difference between TRX and hopping methods (P>0.05). Conclusion and Implications: Integrating TRX and hopping exercises effectively enhances balance in male university athletes, crucial for sports involving rapid movements, jumps, and landings. Discussion and Practical Applications: These exercises improve proprioception, coordination, and core stability, aiding in injury prevention and optimising athletic performance. Limitations and Future Research: Limitations include the study's short duration and focus on male athletes from specific sports. Future research should explore longer interventions and include diverse athlete populations. Overall Significance: TRX and hopping exercises are valuable tools for enhancing balance in male athletes, supporting injury prevention and athletic performance.
