Preventing Gender-Based Violence (GBV) in #Sudan requires a holistic approach addressing its root causes and supporting survivors. Strengthening and enforcing laws, training law enforcement, and raising awareness through community education are essential steps. Engaging men and boys as allies, challenging harmful cultural practices, and empowering women through education and economic opportunities can foster gender equality. Establishing safe spaces, mobile clinics, and confidential reporting mechanisms ensures survivors receive support. In conflict and humanitarian settings, integrating #GBV prevention into aid programs, improving safety in camps, and addressing the proliferation of arms are critical. Collaboration with local organizations, community leaders, and international stakeholders is key to creating sustainable solutions. #Humanrights #UN #awareness
