📝 Some comment's RE: the planning system in here; "Notwithstanding the ongoing challenges with the Strategic Housing Development (SHD) planning system and legacy stagnant applications, the Large-scale Residential Development (LRD) planning process appears to be functioning well with a significant reduction in judicial reviews and a notable improvement and consistency by An Bord Pleanála in determining appeals within the statutory timeline of 16 weeks". Seems like ditching the SHD's was the right move. Could be a significant reason why housing commencements are up so drastically in 2024 so far. Now lets see that we keep making the right calls to improve the country even further
