Why it is important to support single mothers in financial hardship? Social Support -> Lack of adequate support systems, causing isolation. Health and Wellbeing -> Negative impact on physical and mental health due to cumulative stress. Educational and Career Advancement -> Limited opportunities for further education and career progression. Not to forget that private donors help organizations diversify their funding sources and provide a reliable support to single mothers in need.

World Children’s Day 2024 – Listen to the Future Today, we celebrate World Children’s Day under the theme “Listen to the Future”, a powerful reminder of the importance of actively listening to children’s hopes, dreams, and visions for the world they want to live in. As a children's rights advocate, I firmly believe in the transformative power of empowering children. When you empower a child, you empower a family, a community, a nation, and ultimately, the world; one of the cornerstones on which the Margaret Musondo Mwape Foundation (MMMF) is built. Through our initiatives, we aim to improve the welfare of children by ensuring they have access to education, protection, and opportunities to thrive. This year’s theme encourages all of us to reflect on how we can better engage children in shaping the future. Their voices matter, and their dreams are a blueprint for the change we need to see in the world. How are you listening to the future today?
