When it comes to the world of U.S. #padel, it appears as though #Chicago is about to have a 𝘮𝘢𝘫𝘰𝘳 moment... That's because in the next few months alone: 🎾 Abigail McCulloch and team are set to open a four-court indoor facility in Glenview, IL, known as Alma Padel... 🎾 Fabian Gosselin P. and team will open a five-court indoor facility in the West Loop known as Union Padel Club, and... 🎾 The team behind Cube Padel (which already has a five-court indoor #padelclub in #Houston) will be opening a #SouthChicago location as early as January 11. Oh, and let's keep in mind that's all on top of: 🎾 The outdoor padel court that was installed at Saddle & Cycle Club earlier this year... 🎾 The indoor padel court that Instantcourts recently installed at a massive Chicago #pickleball facility known as the SPF Winter Fieldhouse... 🎾 The massive padel and pickleball facility that the Park District of Highland Park will be opening in the Spring of 2025, and... 🎾 The forthcoming project from Alex Vainberg, known as Proximo Padel, which could feature as many as seven padel courts when it opens later in 2025 or early 2026. (What's more, as the Professional Squash Association recently reported, Project Beacon will also soon be bringing a revolutionary outdoor public #squash court to Chicago's Union park along with #tennis and #pickleball courts -- so perhaps we'll see padel there soon, too??🤞).
