My editors said to me: We need it stickier! An upcoming interview that I recently produced: PhotoRebel82 My Peg: “An intimate Latina/o success story that readers can bank on. A blueprint for your own journey from surviving to succeeding." I asked PhotoRebel82 how this photograph came to be. She started explaining everything that is going on in this photo. In detail. Like, how did this vato come to look like this in this moment of time in front of this car in front of this wall/mural. I think this type of thing is really interesting. So, then, I asked PhotoRebel82 what do you not know about money that you are interested in knowing? She said, "I want to do my own solo show at a gallery. I want to understand the business side of doing a solo show in the San Fernando Valley." It takes money to mount a solo show. Where is she going to get the level of money she needs to match her level of talent? Link: https://lnkd.in/gxeNNRjj #Intelatin

What do advertisers, marketers and private investigators have in common? They are obsessed with proof, and for good reason. Pics or it didn't happen, literally. How lucky are we that cameras are so accessible in modern times? We're a visual business, visual impact is what we do. In the past, our team used old school pocket digital cameras, snapping then downloading all the images, organising files, sending off to clients, and repeating. The process was wild. Given that we have over 6500+ sites nationwide, you can imagine how much went in to providing the proof. Over the years, we have developed an insane proof of placement system, giving our clients real time proof of their campaign going live on the streets, down to the second. On the topic of photographs, Auckland War Memorial Museum are currently exhibiting some of the first photographs of Aotearoa. An epic exhibition with a detailed look into the past. Well worth a look. If you want to learn more about our proof of placement system, drop us a line, we'd love to share the details. https://hubs.la/Q02xv3sh0

🌍 Unveiling the World Through Google Street View: Jon Rafman’s 9Eyes I’m excited to share my latest article on Medium where I delve into Jon Rafman’s captivating project, 9Eyes. Using Google Street View, Rafman uncovers raw, human moments captured by chance, revealing the unexpected beauty and complexity of everyday life. In this piece, I explore how 9Eyes blurs the line between art and reality, offering a unique perspective on our digital world. If you're interested in photography, technology, or human stories, this is a must-read!

Our brains have a limited capacity for storing and retrieving memories, so photographs - a "mediated memory" - fill in the gaps, allowing us to re-experience past events. However, the rise of social media and the culture of documenting every aspect of our lives means photos no longer seem to be the record of an event, but often the event itself... watch the video to hear more from Mr Grindlay on the "pictorial fantasy" world we live in. #MattersOfPrincipal #internationalschoolthailand #rugbyschoolthailand #wholepersonwholepoint

Did you know that it's possible to identify person's location and other people in the scene from reflection in the cornea of an eye? All you need is a photo of a decent resolution, the kind that any camera makes nowadays. https://lnkd.in/eynvKumd https://lnkd.in/eXTBGB9X
