We’ve all heard that robots are the future... 🤖 And when it comes to surgery, they really are! Back in 2005 The London Clinic were ahead of the curve, when we became the first UK private hospital to introduce robotic technology for prostate cancer surgery. Today we remain a leader in the field of robotics, with a dedicated Centre of Excellence in Robotic Surgery which involves the use of three main state-of-the-art robots: the da Vinci used for prostate cancer and a range of other cancers, the AquaBeam for treatment of benign prostate hyperplasia and the ExcelsiusGPS robot for spinal surgery.
