𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗜𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹'𝘀 𝗥𝗼𝗮𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗠𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗟𝗶𝗻𝗸𝗲𝗱𝗜𝗻 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁 Creating inclusive content on LinkedIn isn't a walk in the park if you haven't been trained on the subject, but it's crucial. With over a billion professionals using LinkedIn daily, making sure your content stands out and is accessible to everyone is a must. Here are some strategies that can help you boost engagement, stay true to your values and take advantage of LinkedIn's algorithm to expand your visibility: 1️⃣ Use fonts, symbols, and emojis strategically: Emojis can boost engagement significantly! But remember, use them thoughtfully and sparingly. 2️⃣ Emphasise SEO text in bold: Craft SEO-friendly text in an editor then paste it into your LinkedIn post. 3️⃣ Leverage rich media: Incorporate images, videos, GIFs, make sure to add text to images and include captions in videos. 4️⃣ Enhance readability with Dark Mode: It can reduce eye strain for users, improving accessibility. 5️⃣ Use Camel Case for hashtags: It makes them easier for screen readers to understand. 6️⃣ Expand content options with audio events: LinkedIn now offers the option to set up events for those who prefer listening over reading. I assure you that the more inclusive your content is, the more likely it is to be shared, amplifying your message further. Remember, your content is interesting, and you are interesting, so don't shy away from making it accessible to everyone! https://lnkd.in/gNaZy8Qd ∞ ∞ ∞ ∞ ∞ ∞ ∞ ∞ ∞ ∞ ∞ ∞ ∞ ∞ ∞ For further LinkedIn training & marketing strategies, please subscribe to The Link Tank®️ newsletter: https://lnkd.in/dDQdcSQu 🔗I always welcome thoughtful invitations to connect 📞Book a LinkedIn marketing strategy call using the link in my headline #InclusiveContent #LinkedInStrategies #Accessibility #BusinessDevelopment

3moGreat suggestions Melanie Goodman and we should all consider making inclusive content so that it is accessible to many more, so that we’re not leaving behind anyone. I disagree with your suggestion number 2 though. Unicode or fancy fonts can’t be read by screen readers. I mean the way screen readers read these fonts is not a great experience for the reader, it will describe each font character and then read character by character. That’s why I never use them on posts.
