Something is wrong here. You can barely skim the name and address in 7 seconds. Sounds to me like recruiters and hiring managers should invest more time on analyzing candidates resumes rather than forcing candidates to magically make all their skills known at a glance. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve had recruiters or hiring managers ask me if I have any experience with “X”, when its written all over my resume. It’s an epidemic of laziness, starting from the top.
