It’s me—back again, sharing my thoughts! We all want to leave a lasting mark on this planet, and for me, it’s about creating positive change in people’s lives. Whether through public service, government roles, or nonprofit advocacy, my goal is to inspire unity and bring hope to our communities. Despite our differing views, cultures, and values, one thing unites us all: self-interest. But here’s the key—self-interest doesn’t have to mean self-centeredness. It can include others when we embrace a shared understanding of how to help one another reach our fullest potential. Together, we can create opportunities for collaboration, growth, and progress. I’m excited to continue exploring how we can support each other in achieving our goals and making a real impact. What does your mark on the world look like? #SUPPORTYOUR #NONPROFIT #LOCALGOVERNMENT #PHILANTHROPY #CONNECTING #LEADERSHIP #FIGHTON

Nonprofits everywhere are facing increased scrutiny due to highly publicized news stories about wrongdoings, a politically charged climate, and a growing sentiment of apathy. These problems need to be addressed head-on if nonprofit leaders want to connect with donors and break through a lot of the negative messaging and toxic cultures. If leaders want to make a difference they need to start by differentiating themselves and their respective organizations. #Nonprofit #Justice #Culture #DEI
