Evan Shapīro (Media Cartographer) nails it in just 1 minute and 42 second why the audience size isn’t the biggest factor when you’re looking at podcasts, especially in advertising. It’s about the community. “It’s not about the width. It’s about the depth.” When you’re looking at podcast hosts as a Chief Audio Officer, ask yourself, “How well has this host built a thriving, engaged community?” If they have that, if there’s love and trust and the host values and protects that highly, that’s a show worth partnering with. 🚨 Love a new feature announcement. The problem we've solved here is that some folks only want to advertise or appear on podcast based in a specific location, but until now it's not been possible to filter by this anywhere easily. Building a pipeline of podcasters and only want to find those in your country? No problemmo. You can now search podcasts by podcaster country. This is considered in beta and accuracy will improve over time, but super cool seeing this analysis come to life. In the screenshot you'll see all podcasts where: - they're in the UK - business genre - active in last 90 - where we have the email and socials Want to filter by the interests of the audience, who is advertising, or the types of podcast (branded, b2b, etc.)?
