Starting Friday with Intention: Reflections from the Week 🌟☀️ As I sit down with my morning coffee ☕, I’ve been thinking about some of the themes that have come up this week—silence in therapy, deep work, and the value of intentional planning. 🌿✨ This week has been a reminder of how much reflection matters, not just for clients but for me, too. Therapy isn’t just about the moments in session; it’s about creating space for thought, care, and growth, both personally and professionally. 💭💡 Whether it’s navigating the power of silence 🤐, diving into meaningful projects 🗂️, or simply showing up fully for each client 💬, the common thread this week has been presence. Presence in the room, presence in the work, and presence in the little pauses that shape how we approach our days. As Friday unfolds, I’m carrying that focus with me—being intentional, taking a moment to reflect on the week that was, and grounding myself in what’s still to come. 🌟🌿 What’s been a theme or takeaway for you this week? How are you showing up today with presence and intention? 💬✨ #LifeInTheDayOfATherapist #TherapistLife #MentalHealthMatters #FridayMotivation #EndOfWeek

So, if you want to find those parts of you that will help support you to do that - this is DEFINITELY the session for YOU! Don't delay - book your spot now either in person for Saturday 9am OR online for Sunday (DIFFERENT TIME JUST THIS WEEKEND) at 10am (ACST). Join me on a five-day "Be Present" challenge! time of year always feels like a whirlwind, doesn't it? Maybe even busier than the holiday season? Does your to-do list seem to grow longer by the minute, leaving you wondering if you can slow down time just enough to squeeze in one more thing before Memorial Day? Do you feel like you have your schedule figured out and then get another email from your child's teacher telling you about another end-of-year happening? Me, too! The thing is, I can look back at May from last year and the years before and realize that I'm always so busy, and so rushed I forget to take it all in and not miss those special end-of-year moments with my girls. It's all a whirlwind, and this is a time we will never get to do-over or relive. I don't want to miss those moments this year; I know you don't want to either. That's why I have been playing around with presence tools, tricks, and tactics over the past months to find a fun, joyful way to support myself and all of you this May. Join me on a five-day "Be Present" challenge. In this challenge, we will practice finding joy and fulfillment in the tiny moments we normally miss. This won't add to your to-do list. I promise you in the most magical way; it will feel like you are learning ways to expand your time. And in the end, you will look back over the crazy end-of-school-year month with fondness and happiness. The challenge kicks off Monday, May 6. Sign up for my email list on my website at www.britanychambers.com, and I'll share all the exciting details with you!

How you speak to yourself = how you show up for yourself and others. We've all heard this but are you putting it into practice? Mel Robbins has a great video that shares practical insights and tips you can start doing today. Check it out here: https://lnkd.in/eRvixCqz I have a similar practice each morning and I can tell you, it makes a difference. 📝 I write out 5 things I want. Most of the time they're the same 5 things I'm working towards. They do change slightly as I achieve them. 📝 Briefly describe WHY those 5 things are important to me. 📝 I write down 2 to 3 things I'm grateful for. It could be something small that made me smile or something larger. Carving out 5 minutes of time each day for this practice has helped me have more confidence in myself and stop negative self-talk in its tracks. And I know it's made a difference in how I show up for others and myself. What's something you've done that's helped you speak more kindly to yourself? I'd love to hear what's working for you. Happy Friday! ps- the adorable puppy in the photo is our newest addition to the pack. Meet Baby Harold ❤️🐾 #personaldevelopment #habits #selftalk #positivity

🚗 Flashback Friday Six years ago, my Fridays looked very different. I’d be stuck in bumper-to-bumper traffic, trying to get home from a grueling 10-hour day. The weekend couldn't come soon enough, and I'd already be dreading Monday. Today, my Fridays – and every day – look so much different. Now, I often lose track of what day it is because I have the incredible opportunity to design my own schedule and work from anywhere. ✨ Imagine a life where: You set your own hours. You have the freedom to work from home or anywhere you choose. You can prioritize time with family and friends. You’re passionate about your work and it aligns with your lifestyle. Transitioning from the daily grind to a flexible, fulfilling career in the health & wellness space has been life-changing. If you're feeling stuck in the hustle and want to reclaim your time and freedom, let's connect. It’s possible to create a life you love, and I’m here to help you make that change. For a no strings attached look at the opportunity to work with my team and I, schedule a discovery call here: https://lnkd.in/grXsRb8P #FlashbackFriday #WorkFromAnywhere #FreedomLifestyle #CareerChange #HealthAndWellness

“I don’t know about everyone else, but I’m uncomfortable at most gatherings that I go to. So I create the gatherings that I wish existed in the world.” This is so me! I despise awkwardly standing around in silence, or the small talk, and moving through crowded spaces. In fact, I've always found that being in the HOST role makes it easier to feel belonging as an introvert - more so than being a guest. I actually ENJOYED being the one to greet and connect others at huge group events like when I co-hosted The Moto Social in SF, a social gathering for over a hundred motorcyclists! That was my duty as a good host. And as host I can thoughtfully take care of others, like when I designed micro experiences when hosting friends for a themed dinner party. As Priya calls it, moments that redesign "the old smoke break": setting out individual board games (try Double Shutter!), stacks of books to browse, little encouraging notes on the bathroom mirror (shout out to Taylor Harrington 🪩 and geeking out about party ideas). As a guest, while I certainly benefit from these "smoke breaks" to decompress a little, I'd really love it if more gatherings followed Priya's design principle of "giving guests tiny roles" to create a true sense of purpose and belonging within a group setting. Knowing that everyone experiences a little bit of fear in groups (even if they don't show it), means designing for introverts really is better for everyone.
Have you been assigned to lead a big meeting or retreat for your team, but don’t like the spotlight on you? Let me help: https://lnkd.in/gQd8S4et

What are you rolling today? I'm actually quite glad to be doing this die challenge (details below) right now as I'll be honest, I'm having a tough week! Being in-between homes at the moment, I'm learning what it means to feel really out of sorts and without those little rituals. The small things that keep you feeling like you. It can be so easy to let those little things go that keep you afloat when you're distracted by other big events. And that's why this matters. Who's rolling with me this #mentalhealthawarenessweek? #dicechallenge #whatsyourgameplan #careerlifecoaching Here is what I want you to do. 1. Grab something that writes words (ideally a pen and paper so technology can't distract you.). 2. Write down 6 things that you wish you did more of that are quick (roughly 10 minutes or less) and easy to do that also help you slow down or check-in with yourself. Make sure they are specific. This could be: 💧 drink a pint of water, 👉 touch every door in the room, 🎵 listen to your favourite song (no distractions), 🌪 three deep breaths, 📕 read your book for 10 minutes and so on. Have some fun with it! 3. Make sure you have numbered the list from 1-6 4. Grab a die (or google one) or take my roll for today (1) 5. Do the thing alongside that number, NOW!
