Real estate agents - what automations do you use in your marketing process to grow your business? In this post, we want to share the most effective automated process that our agents use to reach and engage with their dream clients: Lead magnets 🧲 These are free resources that you offer to your audience in exchange for their email address that you can then nurture, add to your Newsletter recipient list, or engage with. Here's a basic overview of how lead magnets work for real estate agents on social media: 01. Agent promotes the lead magnet on Instagram Post a relevant reel to catch the attention of your ideal client and add value, like: “Moving to [City]? Here's advice from someone who's lived here for X years” & include a call to action throughout the caption that says, “Comment GUIDE and I'll send over my Moving to [City] Guide” 02. Your new lead comments on your post and automatically receives a DM from you with a link to a form. We recommend that our clients use Manychat or another similar tool that makes DM automation fast, simple, and reliable. The initial CTA for your lead is super simple - “Comment GUIDE…” - and by the time they reach your form, they have enough momentum and interest in the guide, that they are usually willing to provide their email. 03. The lead fills out your form with their name and email in order to download your guide. Your email marketing platform automatically emails them the guide. Our agents typically use Flodesk as their one-stop-shop for email marketing - if you haven’t used it before, let us know and we can give you 50% of a subscription so that you can check it out. 04. Your new lead receive the guide and find great value in it. There's a little magic that happens here in terms of building trust and rapport, and establishing a relationship with this potential client. 05. They automatically receive a series of emails over the next month that are meant to add more value, nurture the relationship & give them strategic opportunities to schedule a consult with you, schedule a showing on specific properties, etc. This process is one key part of how you passively take Instagram followers from being a cold to warm to HOT lead at scale.
