OSGU' Students Academic Diamond Club is organizing an event named "Knowledge Knockout" on March 12, 2024, at 1:30 PM. This event is exclusively for the 10 winners of the previous event. It will consist of two main rounds: the buzzer round and the defend-yourself round. The final winner will also get the trophy and the previous winners get the certificate from the university. In the first event, called "B Quizzed," participants are tested through a written general knowledge quiz. Based on their performance, the top 25 students proceed to the second round. The second event, called "Scavenger Hunt," involves a unique twist where participants must navigate through different departments to gather hints that will help them answer the final questions. This round challenges their ability to gather information efficiently and apply it to solve problems. Five years ago, after facing failure, I set my sights on graduating with first-class honors. Through resilience, determination and hard work, my dream became a reality. I'm thrilled to celebrate my convocation, congratulations Ebiomofari Omowumi Janet. This achievement serves as a stepping stone to even greater accomplishments. Inspired by my journey, I've authored a book to guide students seeking academic excellence, even after facing setbacks. My own path wasn't always straightforward; I transformed from an average student to one of the 256 first-class graduates of the University of Ilorin's 2023 academic session. If your grades don't reflect your efforts, consider this: sometimes what you need isn't more grinding, but introspection.
