Big news in the Esports scene! The international tournament organizer BLAST has announced two major Esports events - Fortnite Battle Royale Global Championship and Rocket League World Championship, slated for this September in Fort Worth, Texas. The Fortnite championship is expecting 50 of the world's top duos, competing for a share of a $2M total prize pool. Similarly, the Rocket League World Championship features a select 16 international teams vying for their share of a $1.165M prize pool. This is another step forward in making Texas a global hub for Esports, and it's particularly significant given Fort Worth's collaboration with BLAST, Rocket League Esports, and Fortnite Competitive alongside the Fort Worth Sports Commission and C3 Presents.
