Unlike your internal hiring team, I can operate “out of bounds”. That sounded sketchy... But the reality of it is, I’m not bound by company policy. I don’t have to let the job opening stay open for “x” amount of days before starting the interview process. I don’t get paid by the hour. And while having integrity is very important to me, I don’t have to be concerned about optics when it comes to the hiring process.
