Had a great all-hands meeting at our Ontario yard this week, where we discussed upcoming projects and our game plan moving forward. A big thank you to our incredible crew for their commitment to delivering safe, high-quality, and productive work, which has earned us the status of being our customers' go-to contractor. Along with a strong leadership team in place, we're excited to continue diversifying and expanding our footprint across Southern California. #TeichertFamilyofCompanies #BuildingTrustTradition

Heading home to Perth with a lot to reflect on. This trip has been more than just business as usual. Here are five key takeaways: 1. I was introduced to the skill/will matrix, a tool for assessing strengths and weaknesses. It’s a game changer for me and something I’ll use to grow both personally and professionally. 2. A valuable meeting with a key customer based in Sydney reminded me how critical relationships and customer input are to your future strategy. 3. I’m more excited than ever about Fleetwood’s national opportunities. The potential is immense, and I’m eager to be a part of it. 4. During three days of training, I challenged myself to listen more than I talked, ensuring my contributions added value every time I spoke. 5. The trip reinforced how modular construction can address the housing crisis, but only if government regulations catch up with the speed and efficiency modular offers. Looking forward to what’s next and to getting back home to my family! #BusinessTravel #Construction #Growth #Leadership #ModularConstruction

We’re rolling the clock back 11 years, to when Antis Roofing Founder & “Chief People Awakener”, Charles Antis invited every employee to his home and made them breakfast. To each employee he asked, “What’s important to you?” Then listened to their stories… One of those Employees was Pedro, who grew up on the plains of Central Mexico. He said, “Charles, when I was 8, at 3:30 every morning, I would be nudged by my father… He’d gently wake me, look me in the eyes and ask, “Hey, Pedro, will you work with me at the ranch today for a couple hours before you go to school (Both of them knowing he only has about six total years of education.)?” …Then Pedro, with his father holding his stare, would say, “Yes, Dad.” After hearing this story, something happened… A change in leadership where taking pause to listen better became a priority. We also started heavily investing in our people with things like emerging leader programs (taught by people from Latin American countries) teaching emotional intelligence, management skills, and interactive skills. Things we need to know in order to be heard! That’s why #everynailmatters and Antis! So, what is important to us at Antis? Keeping families Safe & Dry! What’s important to you?... There's something powerful and unique about leadership when it is nurtured in an outdoor environment. Away from screens and boardrooms, the outdoors challenges us in unexpected ways, making us adaptable and resilient. #leadership #campjoy #getoutside https://lnkd.in/gWSV3ZP

Leaders stay with you whether you are in person or only connect for time to time. They stay with you as you follow their example, or a message or a vision and reflect that in your own leadership.
You will have lots of jobs but being part of an amazing team is how transformational change takes place while building lifelong friendships. I’ve had the privilege of being a part of many great teams including the team that led the Colorado Department of Transportation. Two of the amazing leaders from that team have gone on to #leadership roles with the City and County of Denver. Joshua Laipply was the best Chief Engineer in the country when we worked together and now is the Chief Projects Officer for CCD. Amy Ford is the Executive Director of the Transportation and Infrastructure for Denver. She is a glutton for punishment having worked with me at AECOM and the Intelligent Transportation Society of America but will do great things for Denver especially around #safety. It’s so rewarding to see great people move onward and upward.

📢 Listening and Following Up: Key Responsibilities for Condo Boards 🏢 Another common mistake some long-term board members make is losing patience and cutting owners off during meetings. Owners’ concerns—like roof leaks—are often dismissed with a quick “we’ll look into it,” but nothing gets done. As a board member, listening and following up are essential. It’s about accountability and serving your community effectively. 👉 Watch the full video for more on improving condo board leadership: https://lnkd.in/gpE3AHxb #CondoBoard #Accountability #CommunityLeadership #CondoLiving #LanceLuke #BuildingManagement

In my journey of leading Land Enterprises Roofing, if one principle stands as the bedrock of our operations, it's trust. Trust, to us, means being reliable. We are committed to treating our customers the way we hope our family and friends are being treated by others around them. Here's how we do it: 1 - Do right by people We are committed to doing right by people. Whether it's a client in distress after a storm, a team member facing personal challenges, or a community in need, our approach is always to listen, understand, and act with kindness and fairness. 2 - Do right by the business Doing right by our business means standing behind our word and our work. It's about investing in quality materials, training our team to the highest standards, and consistently delivering on our promises. The trust we build is the foundation of our success. It turns customers into lifelong clients and advocates for our business and a team that feels the same, How do you build and nurture trust in your business or professional relationships? What does doing right by people and your business mean to you? #okc #professionaldevelopment #growth #leadership #LeadershipMotivation #PersonalDrive #BusinessGoals #trust

I have been part of the CLC for several years now, and much of the activity quite frequently goes under the radar - but it does work, in my view, consistently and effectively towards a better construction sector in terms of the impact of the sector on society; a sector that serves both it's clients and those who work in the sector better. I give you as examples the Farmer Review, Procuring for Value, the Construction Sector Deal, the Transforming Construction Challenge Fund, the Construction Playbook, Constructing the Gold Standard, the FAC1 contract and Construct Zero. Yes, indeed, what have the Romans ever done for us. (And there's a reference to show I've still got it kids.) So, clients - five carbon commitments. I think these are exciting and inspiring. Maybe you do, in which case please join us. Maybe you don't, in which case what are your commitments? But the solution to much of what we want to do or build in society flows through construction, and clients set many of the rules of the game. The Construction Leadership Council hosted an event today which saw the launch of the Five Client Carbon Commitments – simple, practical steps that organisations can take to show how they are reducing their carbon emissions and by when. Alan Mak MP, Minister for Industry at the Department for Business and Trade, spoke to a packed room of construction industry leaders as he launched the initiative. Find out how you can get involved below. https://shorturl.at/kxTVY
