As we approach the final stages on the Ørsted and Eversource Energy Revolution Wind Project in Providence, RI, I am proud to announce that Riggs Distler is on the brink of completing yet another milestone. With the serial manufacturing of all the advanced foundation components (suspended internal platforms, external working platforms, anode cages and monopile doors) successfully wrapped up, our focus now lies on those final punch-list items for load out this month. The diligence and expertise demonstrated by every member of our workforce have been instrumental in bringing us to this point and I want to thank everyone involved for their efforts. When Revolution Wind farm comes online, it will generate enough clean energy to power more than 350K Connecticut and Rhode Island homes, supporting each state’s clean energy goals.
In New York, all hands are on deck at the Port of Coeymans for the Sunrise Wind project. There, construction is in full swing on assembling the advanced foundation components that are critical to the process of transmitting clean energy to the electrical grid. With nearly 120 trade craft workers on site, their partnership has been invaluable in driving our progress forward. I'd like to take a moment to shout-out to the New York Greater Capital Region Building and Construction Trades Council for their unwavering support.
At Riggs Distler, we embrace challenges as opportunities for growth, and each accomplishment fuels our determination to reach greater heights. As we continue to push the boundaries of what's possible, we remain strong in our commitment to executing this work in the offshore wind market. Stay tuned for more updates in the coming months.
