Think of it like taking photos of your room from all angles. ✨ 𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬: The computer then becomes a super sleuth, looking for matching parts between all the pictures. 🎨 Conditioned Image Generation Goes 3D: Coin3D brings the control techniques you know for generating images using #diffusion models, but now with 3D models. Basic Idea: - In 2D, you usually start with a sketch or an edge map. In Coin3D, you start with basic 3D shapes like cubes, spheres, and cylinders. - An additional prompt allows you to give more specific instructions about what you want your 3D model to look like, similar to how you’d use text prompts to guide 2D image generation. - Just like in 2D diffusion models, where you turn random noise into a detailed image, Coin3D starts with #voxelized 3D proxies and uses their silhouettes to generate 2D image candidates through controlled 2D diffusion. These 2D images are used to refine and detail the 3D model. Interactive Workflow - Coin3D also allows you to interact with your 3D model during its creation. This is realized through a two-pathway conditioning approach: one pathway processes the voxelized 3D proxy to generate silhouette images, while the other pathway refines these silhouettes into detailed 2D images. These detailed 2D images inform the adjustments made to the 3D model, allowing for real-time tweaks, additions, and changes. - As you make changes, Coin3D gives you quick previews from different angles, helping you see exactly how your edits are shaping up.
