🌟 Understanding Yarn Structure: The Foundation of Textiles 🌟 In the textile industry, the construction of yarn plays a key role in determining its strength, durability, and usage. Let’s break down the main types of yarn structures: 1. Single Yarn This type of yarn is made from fibers that are twisted together. It’s commonly used in basic textiles, offering flexibility and a smooth finish. Ideal for everyday fabrics and garments! 2. Ply Yarn Ply yarn consists of two or more single yarns twisted together, creating a stronger and more durable product. In sewing, ply yarn is often referred to as "thread" because of its strength and reliability in seams. Perfect for fabrics that require additional durability! 3. Rope A much thicker version of ply yarn, rope is created by twisting multiple strands together for maximum strength. It’s used in heavy-duty applications like construction, shipping, and industrial textiles, where toughness is a must! 💡 Why Does Yarn Structure Matter? Understanding the structure of yarn helps manufacturers choose the right material for their specific needs. Whether it's strength, flexibility, or durability, selecting the proper yarn structure is crucial for ensuring the quality of your textiles. #YarnStructure #TextileIndustry #PlyYarn #SingleYarn #TextileManufacturing #DurableTextiles #GlobalTrade

High performance rolls for the textiles K.W.F Hilger Calendering rolls & Squeezing rolls High performance textile calendering rolls: The rollers of Simtex TM Revolution are used in Simili Calenders and other textile finishing machines. Creates Mercerisage Effect (Smoothness, Shine, Density, GrifO of Textiles (ego African Damast). The Simtex TM cover can withstand surface temperatures of up to 250 0 C with the steel roller running at a maximum temperature of 400° C. The cover withstands pressures of 400-500kn/m. Squeezing rolls : Squeezing roller used to extract liquid from textiles after washing cycle. More effective at squeezing excess moisture than rubber rollers. Less harsh on delicate fabrics. Achieves great cost savings due to less energy consumption, than the traditional rubber rolls. These outstanding squeezing performance is achieved through a combination of the squeezing action and powerful capillary suction. As the fabric enters the nip, excess liquid is removed by squeezing, and immediately after the nip extra liquid is sucked into the Roberto™ roll, resulting in an increased squeezing performance of 20-50% compared to conventional rubber and PU rolls. My new textile finishing machine related article entitled "Compactor Machine In Textile Finishing." The compactor machine stands as a specialized textile finishing machine designed explicitly for compacting 100% cotton knitted fabric. Most of the common compactor machines, characterized by their felt type, boast two fitted compacting units. These units play a crucial role in achieving superior fabric quality, ensuring minimal shrinkage, and imparting a soft, fluffy texture to the material. There are a few contents on the Compactor Machine, yet it is an essential finishing component. For the essence of this particular machine details, I have completed a whole overview on this topic through written content and YouTube content. #finishing #textilemachinery #finishingmachine #compactor #textilefinishing #textileexplainer

Clothing, decoration, and industrial applications have extensively used fabrics made from natural and manufactured fibers. It is important to note that fiber quality, yarn construction, fabric structure, and any treatment applied to the materials all contribute to the physical and mechanical properties of these fabrics. https://lnkd.in/gXc_Mt7f #fabrictesting #textiletesting #fabrictestingmethod #fabrictestingdetails

DUETTO Biancalani Textile Machinery AIRO® 24 DUETTO is a special finishing machine working in continuous and open width form. The machine is suitable for treating and drying any kind of fabrics without stretching, and conferring high softness, volume and dimensional stability. Biancalani has worked hard to concentrate the capacity of two AIRO®24 tumblers as per softening and drying action and productivity in a super compact size. As usual, the result of Biancalani R&D work is innovative and it got a brand-new patent: a great satisfaction for Biancalani that never stops looking for new effective finishing solutions. The treatment can be carried out on both wet and dry fabric, with different widths. The fabric, driven by a regular air flow, moves in alternate direction inside the two parallel treatment channels (ejectors), placed one over the other. This way the fabric undergoes a double tumbling effect inside the machine that operates in continuous mode. The fabric is processed inside the upper part of AIRO®24 DUETTO first, then in the lower part for a complete and effective double drying and softening action. Basically, for a double production capacity. The machine is particularly suitable for: -Drying and softening of both light and heavy fabrics (cotton, linen, chenille, wool, viscose, fabrics blended with Lycra, synthetics, rayon, coated, resin applied, synthetic leather, flock, etc.) -Treatment of stretch fabrics in order to achieve a good level of stability and relaxation. - Loop raising and high increase of volume while drying terry towel, knitted fabrics and velvets. STRUCTURE The machine consists of four main elements: -A double accumulation chamber for incoming fabric; -A double accumulation chamber for the outgoing fabric; -Two bi-directional ejectors, placed horizontally one over the other, each connecting the two accumulation chambers; -Four stainless steel grills. #biancalani #tootal #textileindustry #textiles

Count of yarn and fabric refers to the measurement of the thickness or fineness of yarns and fabrics. Here are some common counts used in the textile industry: Yarn Count: 1. _Cotton Count (Ne)_: Measures the number of hanks (840 yards) of yarn per pound. 2. _Wool Count_: Measures the number of yards of yarn per pound. 3. _Linen Count (Lea)_: Measures the number of yards of yarn per pound. 4. _Synthetic Count (Denier)_: Measures the weight in grams of 9,000 meters of yarn. Fabric Count: 1. _Thread Count (TC)_: Measures the number of threads per square inch of fabric. 2. _Ends Per Inch (EPI)_: Measures the number of warp yarns per inch. 3. _Picks Per Inch (PPI)_: Measures the number of weft yarns per inch. 4. _Fabric Density_: Measures the weight of fabric per square yard or meter. These counts help determine the fabric's: - Thickness - Fineness - Density - Softness - Durability - Drape - Texture Higher counts typically indicate finer, smoother, and more densely woven fabrics, while lower counts indicate coarser, thicker, and more loosely woven fabrics.
