Today, Munizha Talash’s words echo a painful reality for millions of Afghan women and girls. With tears in her eyes, she expressed a sentiment shared by so many in Afghanistan—dreams deferred, ambitions stifled, and rights brutally denied. Yet despite everything, Munizha, like countless Afghan women, stands tall, serving as a beacon of resilience and strength. Afghan girls and women have long been a symbol of courage, striving for education and freedom in the face of unimaginable adversity. The current regime’s oppressive actions, from barring girls from schools to silencing women's voices, is a stark violation of fundamental human rights. The world must not look away. Girls in Afghanistan are being deprived of an education, and women are stripped of their freedoms, forced into silence, and robbed of their futures—all as part of a political show of power. Despite these dark times, women like Munizha Talash embody defiance. They continue to fight, even when resources are scarce, even when the situation seems hopeless. Munizha wanted to turn her Burqa (Chadari) into wings for Afghan girls—this symbolizes an unyielding spirit that cannot be crushed. To the international community, governments, and global organizations: - Support Afghan women’s right to education. Establish scholarship programs, create online platforms for remote learning, and keep pushing for educational access. - Sanctions and diplomatic pressure on the de facto authorities must include clear demands for women's and girls' rights. - Amplify Afghan voices at global forums. Women and girls must not be forgotten in international dialogues. - Humanitarian assistance should focus on women and children, ensuring their safety and access to basic services. - Civil society must unite globally to call out the systematic oppression of women and girls in Afghanistan.
With tears in her eyes, Munizha Talash spoke with a heavy heart: "I gave up my goals and dreams, but I wanted to create wings from the Burqa (Chadari) for the girls of Afghanistan. I wanted to show the world that Afghan girls can achieve great things, even with the few resources they have." She expressed her deep desire to one day return to Afghanistan and live a life of freedom. "I know today we are all sad, and our hearts are breaking. But I want to tell the girls of Afghanistan that if I am still standing today, it is because of you. You give me strength. I urge you not to lose hope. Together, we will live in peace, with freedom of expression, in our homeland, on our soil." Please stand with Afghan women. Afghan women need your support now more than ever. Thank you, and I hope that one day, we will all return home." This call for solidarity is a powerful reminder of the resilience and strength of Afghan women, and it is an urgent appeal for the world to not look away. #Afghanistan #afghanWomen

Where's that enthusiasm, zeal & fervour? On 14 - AUG - 2024, 🇵🇰 is still facing connectivity issues. Twitter (X), Facebook, Instagram & especially WhatsApp aren't working because Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) blocked them by FireWall. All #Avenues of #Power & #Authority are busy in suppressing 🇵🇰 public opinion. Creating complete Information & Internet Blockade is causing Freelancers & E - Commerce huge business losses. In this age when world is pacing forward towards 5G & 7G, 🇵🇰 is lacking 4G OR 4G+ OR even adequate Internet Connectivity. The very Government that claims to be elected by 🇵🇰 people isn't even bothering & feeling the sufferings & pain, they are going through 24/7 & around the year. Price Escalation, Inflation, Information & Internet Blockade, Costly Energy (Electricity, Gas, Fuel), Poverty, Joblessness, Lack of Basic Necessities (Education, Food, Roads & Dams Infrastructure, Clean Drinking Water, Peace, Safety, Law & Order) & etc. all are fuelling..... #Volcano 🌋 of #Distress, #Unrest, #Disappointment & #Frustration among the masses. Moreover, in 🇵🇰 none is allowed to #Post for #Palestine & #Palestinians and against #israel. Although Quaid - E - Azam said, "isr-ael is an #IllegitimateChild of Europe" and "#Kashmir is our #JagularVein", yet our armed forces are busy in releasing songs, "India Jaa Jaa Kashmir Say Nikal Jaa", considering it the way forward towards #Global & #Regional #Peace, #Stability & #Tranquility. 🇵🇰 forgot Hazrat Allama Iqbal's #Philosophy of #Khuddi & #Selflessness. 🇵🇰 forgot #Islam's Philosophy of #Jihaad. That's why, #Kashmir & #Palestine are still under #Oppression, #Suppression & #Tyranny. After 9/11, US didn't bother to attack #Talibans & #Afghanistan at full pace to take revenge. isr-ael is still reluctant to #CeaseFire & #HumanitarianAid despite International Court of Justice (ICJ) gave verdict declaring isr-ael's #Settlements & #Occupation as #Illegal & #Illegitimate. But 🇵🇰, #OIC & #Ummah, all are busy in giving #CondemnationStatements only, taking no physical & practical steps OR stopping & abstaining the #aggressor by arm with #EqualForce. What's benefit & usage of 🇵🇰 #MissileProgram & #NuclearArsenal when #Kashmiris & #Palestinians are still #SLAVES. #West, #WesternMedia, #EuropeanUnion (European Union) & US don't get tired of preaching #BasicHumanRights but in case of #Palestine & #Kashmir, their #DoubleStandards & #Hypocrisy are #EVIDENT. 🥺🥺🥺😭😭😭🇵🇰🇵🇰🇵🇰🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸🤲🤲🤲🤲🤲🤲

As we celebrate Pakistan’s Independence Day, it's important to acknowledge both our struggles and our strengths. Yes, we face significant challenges, and the shadows of corruption have affected our progress. The imprisonment of leaders like Imran Khan, who symbolizes hope and change, is a reminder of the hurdles we face. However, let us not lose sight of the fact that our beloved land remains full of potential and promise. The issues we encounter are not a reflection of Pakistan's inherent value but rather a call for us to introspect and improve ourselves as a nation. This Independence Day, let's renew our commitment to building a brighter future for Pakistan. Change begins with each one of us. By striving for betterment and unity, we can create the circumstances we hope for. Together, we can transform our challenges into opportunities and steer our nation towards the prosperity it deserves. #IndependenceDay #Pakistan #ImranKhan #IK #Hope #Resilience #NationBuilding #Unity #Progress #Future #Leadership #Patriotism #faith #discipline #TogetherWeRise

The importance of this day was magnified in 1964 when Tanganyika united with Zanzibar to form the United Republic of #Tanzania. This unification brought together diverse cultures, traditions, and histories, creating a stronger, more united nation. Celebrations on this day typically include official ceremonies, a presidential address, military parades, cultural performances, public gatherings, and educational programmes. These events commemorate the historical transition, celebrate Tanzania’s rich cultural heritage, and reflect on the nation’s progress since becoming a republic. Republic Day serves as an opportunity for Tanzanians to reflect on the challenges overcome, the advancements made in areas such as education, healthcare, and economic development, and the work that still lies ahead. It reinforces the principles of self-governance, national unity, and the ongoing process of nation-building, reminding Tanzanians of their country’s hard-won independence and its commitment to democratic ideals and national sovereignty as they continue to face new challenges in the 21st century. The continent has been revitalized and rejuvenated through our dedication to #AfricanUnity, a vision initiated by our ancestors who fought against colonialism, established principles of #justice, #peace, and #dignity, and passed down their knowledge and wisdom for our generation to achieve complete #freedom and #independence. On 24th May 1963, Kwame Nkrumah, the pioneer of #PanAfricanism, delivered a powerful speech in #AddisAbaba, #Ethiopia, where he emphasized the urgent need for unity to create the United States of Africa. He acknowledged that previous generations had fought for freedom, but true independence required breaking free from neocolonialism and allowing Africans to control their social and economic destinies. During #Ghana's 40th independence anniversary in 1997, Julius Nyerere urged the current generation to carry forward the torch of African freedom with determination and enthusiasm, highlighting the challenge of being recognized solely as Africans while unity among African nations remained a distant goal. At the second All Africans Movement Assembly(#AAMA2024), held in #Accra, #Ghana, the descendants of these founding fathers, Samia Nkrumah and Emma Nyerere, emphasized the immediate necessity of coming together for justice, peace and dignity of all #Africans. #AfricanAffairs #BorderlessAfrica #LetOurPeopleMove #AfricaWeWant #AfricansRising #Africans #AfricanSpirituality #africanstartups #africanstory #africansonpoint #africanstyles #africanspeakers #africansafaris #AfricanStudies #AfricanStories
