It's funny to think that a year ago Geoff Shames pointed out a major problem with managing event advertising and how difficult and expensive it was to solve with human capital and existing software options. Fast forward to now, and Eventsheet is growing in users and is firmly establishing itself as a more simplified Facebook Ad Manager workflow for marketers, managers, music artists, and just about anyone who needs to run ads on Facebook/Instagram. Last week was a whirlwind (and now that I’ve had half a second to exhale) — a couple highlights: First, Advertising Week New York 2024 rocked! I was honored to join such a stellar crew (Ruth Mortimer, Andrea Gellert, Kesha McLeod) onstage to talk about new models of leadership, strategies to navigate/overcome career challenges, and what’s next on the tech and gen AI front. I always enjoy these types of conversations because I don’t believe that we have to learn everything the hard way…we can gain and impart so much from sharing experiences and insights. Anytime someone can identify with a nugget I’ve shared and it makes them feel more seen, empowered, or inspired, I say take it and build. May my hard-won lessons always serve as another’s blessing!
