Vale's switch-up in how they hire really resonates with me. 💡 It's all about thinking outside the box when faced with a shortage of skilled workers. By creating the Miner-in-Training program and rethinking their hiring criteria, they opened doors for a whole new group of people, including those without previous mining experience. That move not only filled crucial roles but also brought in fresh perspectives and talents to the team. 💥 What's particularly inspiring is how this shift led to a more diverse workforce, with a significant increase in female representation, including in leadership roles. That's a huge win for diversity and inclusion, something I'm passionate about seeing in every industry. 🦺 Moreover, their commitment to training and development speaks volumes about how much they value their employees' growth and success. It's not just about filling positions; it's about investing in people and helping them thrive. 👏 Overall, Vale's experience teaches us the power of adaptability and innovation in tackling workforce challenges head-on. It's a reminder that sometimes, the best solutions come from thinking differently and being open to change. 🙌

Now they discriminate against white males with a solid background from various fields. Diversity is great till you intentionally leave a certain demographic out of your hiring process. Hire the best candidates
