I received 700+ birthday wishes on LinkedIn on May 6th. While celebrating with my friends, one of them asked: "Duh, what are you going to do? Are you going to reply to all these 700+ messages, or just ignore them?" 🫣 My response was clear: "No, each person will receive a 'Thank you' from me." When I say every single one of you matters to me, I mean it—and I’ve highlighted this commitment in green.🍃 It might take me a week to respond (your girl has her exams, client work, and personal replies to handle!), so please bear with me. But rest assured, you'll definitely hear back from me. 🎯 See my dedication? Just like that, when I manage your LinkedIn, I bring the same level of dedication to your account. Most of my clients value this personal touch the most. I don’t think of it as yours; I think of it as ours. In our meetings, you’ll often hear me say: "We are about to hit..." "We are close to earning this badge..." "We are generating leads..." It’s not you, nor me—it’s Us. If you’re looking for a LinkedIn Manager who treats your account as their own, hit me up. I’m only taking on two clients for June. P.S.: I might even throw in a birthday discount as my gift to you. Follow Vartika Mishra ✨

Call him #KAWKAW Kyle Kyle is wearing the KAWKAW of the Month January crown. LimeLight recognizes a stellar employee each month who is peer nominated and presented in raucous form to the entire agency. Here's what some of his peers had to say: "To our email guru, Kyle, for elevating our email game, streamlining our workflows, and rolling out genius best practices! You KAW-KAW all day, every day all while happily educating others, and are such a valuable asset to our team." "So much flow. Welcome flows. Post-purchase flows. Nurture flows. Ice flows? Maybe. Flowing locks? Not yet, but who knows? Email, wee mail, ASGmail, fleamail? Maybe if he gets into the Red Hot Chili Pepper’s gmail. Point is, Kyle could be crowned the email king. But this is not a hereditary crown, so Ace will have to earn it." Congrats, Kyle Tapper!

Copywriting is one of the skills required to sell your products and services. But potential customers out there are tired of the word 'buy'. Once they sense that you're marketing to them, they click away. One strategy that has always worked and will continue is 'Contrarian email'. This is an email that comes with a contrary belief or opinion. The headline alone being contrary to their opinion will attract them to open the email. So, the next time you're crafting an email, think of a contrarian email. What's your take on this email crafting hint?

If you’ve ever successfully STOPPED doing a time-honored event, please-oh-please share your examples with us in the comments! I’ve done plenty of event ROI data analyses that showed support for letting certain things go. Alas, I’ve also had plenty of experience navigating political landscapes where beloved traditions, VIP attachments, or the big hearts of dedicated volunteers overrode the power of metrics. So if you can’t kill an event, one way to turn lemons to lemonade is to rethink the success metrics. For example, what if you measured volunteer satisfaction instead of attendance numbers? You could then shift your time and energy into creating meaningful volunteer roles like sending peer-to-peer invites, following up with attendees, working the welcome table, introducing speakers. And hey, those tactics may actually lead to beating the original attendance goals anyway! That'd be some pretty sweet lemonde. Have you ever STOPPED doing an event? Tell us about it in the comments ⬇ ⬇ ⬇
