Because #tariffs get invisibly baked into the price of goods, it’s nearly impossible for you to look at two products and know whether the price difference is a result of quality, supply, or tariffs. Watch here: https://hubs.ly/Q02xMnlR0

The argument is tariffs bring about higher consumer prices, which could be true — but only if all other considerations are held constant. That assumes businesses pass along the cost, and supply chains are cemented down. To read more: https://lnkd.in/gqBazBYs #winchellfinancialgroup

Ignoring current events can lead to problems. For example... President elect Donald Trump has proposed widespread tariffs. Staying informed on current events isn’t just about politics—it’s about your wallet. So regardless of you party, here's how these policies may affect you: 1️⃣ Car Prices 🏎️ Components like steel and aluminum coming from China may cost more. Meaning higher car prices for you. 2️⃣ Produce Costs 🍍 Imported vegetables and other produce from countries like Mexico may see price hikes at the grocery store, or in your meal plans. 3️⃣ Everyday Goods 👠 Tariffs on trade partners like China, Mexico, Canada, and India could raise prices on countless items—everything from electronics to clothing. While these price increases are largely unavoidable, understanding their potential impact allows you to prepare and stay ahead. Financial planning isn’t just for CEOs—it’s for 𝘆𝗼𝘂. Stay informed, stay prepared. #PersonalFinance #CurrentEvents #FinancialPlanning #Tariffs #Budgeting

Tariffs and what they mean. We've been hearing a lot about tariffs this political season, and there seems to be some uncertainty about exactly how this works and who it affects. The short version is that a tariff artificially increases a product's landed cost, which is usually passed on to the consumer. Some people view a tariff as a way of leveling the playing field against those who can outperform domestic manufacturers; it's the consumer who pays the price. Unless the manufacturer wants to lower their profit margins, the consumer will always foot the bill #CIF #duty #duties #tariffs #shipping https://lnkd.in/g58ykGKJ

Everyone is upset about tariffs increasing price don't realize there is a choice. Price is kind. American companies are competitive if they still be profitable. This image tries to explain the complex of it all. When it comes to manufacturing the more you make the cheaper you can sell the item.

Voters clearly did not understand how tariffs work, and are going to have serious buyer's remorse when prices go up another 10-20% next year. There is a way to apply pressure to roll these back, which is for retailers to break out tariffs in their prices and to educate consumers. See my article (and share widely) at

I try not to be political on this vertical, it simply is not the right platform. But Y’ALL the tariffs are coming. And I disagree with many of the individuals being quoted in this article. Now is the time to plan for contingencies. Start asking where you will source, how prices will be impacted and what sorts of shifts you will need to make in your business to accommodate them. #tariffs #industry2025 https://lnkd.in/eXciyQ68
