Dear friends, Today, I reach out to you with a heartfelt plea for help. Madalina, a brave mother of three, is in a desperate situation and needs our support. After several surgeries, Madalina has lost one of her legs and is now confined to a wheelchair. These tragic events have placed her in a difficult position where she can barely provide for her children and herself. The Urgent Situation Madalina has not been able to pay her rent for the past seven months. Understandably frustrated, the landlord has given her a final warning and plans to involve the authorities to evict her from the house. This family is on the brink of homelessness. How You Can Help I am asking you to contribute as little as one euro, dollar, or pound to help Madalina and her children. Your generous donations will be used primarily for: Paying off overdue rent: Ensuring the family has a roof over their heads. Buying food: Providing the essentials for Madalina and her children. Procuring a prosthetic leg: Helping Madalina regain some mobility and independence. Every Contribution Counts No amount is too small. It's International Day of Charity and as a small charity we are passionate about making a BIG impact... Last year... 💓 1,300 local children, young people and their parents/carers benefitted from 1:1 bereavement counselling and/or group activities 💓 153 professionals and parents/carers benefitted from bereavement and loss training to better support 100's of locally bereaved families 💓 177 of telephone advice and guidance was provided 💓 100% of children and their families that accessed support felt they had benefitted We received only 3% of our income from statutory sources (this is not definite for future years and is only for our Bassetlaw service). The other 97% relies on donations from the community, corporates, and Trusts. Our events and challenges are a crucial part of these donations, raising the funds we need to continue to operate and support local children and their families during one of the most devastating times in their lives. In our company, employees open their hearts wide for good deeds ❤️🩹 One way to help is through donations. ⚡️ Our company has a donation system, and contributions can be made in the following ways: 1. Opting out of birthday gifts. In this case, the entire amount will be donated to charity. 2. Opting out of quarterly team-building activities. This money can also be sent to those in need! 3. Donating your corporate points, which the company converts into real money and sends to charity. By the way, each employee or department can choose whom they want to direct their donation to. For example, in 2024, the record recipients were animal shelters, and we also help children and elderly people. It’s especially gratifying that in 2024, the total amount of donations nearly doubled!
