Do you run a brick-and-mortar business with products that are either perishable? Here is a tip to help you minimize potential losses: Invest in a backup generator. In the state of Michigan we've had a lot of power outages lately. A lot of insurance companies are starting to require business owners to get a generator if they have the potential for a spoilage loss over $50,000. If you have multiple claims due to spoilage, some insurance companies are now requiring that you get a generator if you want to keep that spoilage coverage. This helps to protect you and mitigate your losses, helping to keep your premiums lower. Let's chat about how you can better protect yourself and your business. #BusinessSafety #InsuranceTips #MichiganBusiness #ProtectYourBusiness
