Update on SongSeeker! I wanted to share some exciting updates to SongSeeker, the webgame I've been developing. I've expanded the music selection to include tracks from over 150 countries! With the increased difficulty of the game, I've also introduced a new "50/50" feature: once per game, you can now narrow your choices down to two countries, making it easier to get a higher score. Check out these new features at songseeker.xyz and let me know what you think!

Check out some recent work of ours on the Apogee Entertainment game, Wizordum, developed by Emberheart Games!
🎶 Live musicians in game music are underestimated 🎻 While virtual instruments have made incredible strides and can sound pretty convincing, there’s an incredible energy that only live performers can bring to a score. In a game I’m working on with Fractal Edge Music at the moment, Wizordum, developed by Emberheart Games and Apogee Entertainment, the bonus level is a perfect example of this. The level’s lighter tone offered the perfect opportunity to collaborate with talented live musicians, who brought the composition to life in ways that virtual instruments simply couldn’t. It’s always inspiring to witness how live performances elevate the music—and ultimately the gameplay—by adding that extra dimension of authenticity. Massive thanks to the instrumentalists who took part! Tim De Man setting the scene on Whistles, Mandolin Accordion and Kit, Kristin Naigus on the Oboe, recorders and Hunting Horn (Oboe), and Eli Bishop on the Fiddle. And if you’re a studio considering your music budget, make sure you don’t consider live musicians as an afterthought. They will bring the narrative to a whole new level.👾🎻 What are your thoughts on live musicians? #gamemusic #livemusic #videogames #gameaudio #musicproduction

Some time ago, I shared some thoughts on how I develop a music concept in the early stages of a new project, having just gone through this process for 'Halve' by Moonleaf studio, MB. In the latest upload of my 'Composer Devlog' series, I give a brief overview of how this process has resulted for the music in first chapter in the game! In the video, I move from inspiration to the first in-game music, taking you through all the steps that come in between. I hope you enjoy! #gameaudio #gamedev #gamedevelopment

Hi Bobby! I loved your post about the new plugin. It's exciting to see how music production tools continue to evolve, especially in capturing the essence of vintage consoles. I can't wait to try out the features you mentioned and see how they enhance my projects. Could you share more about how you incorporate it into your work? Thanks for always providing such valuable insights to the music community!
