Do you really NEED a big budget to make good content... If a concept won't work without big money, it probably wasn't a great idea to begin with. Are budgets important? Unfortunately, Yes. Will a big budget help a good idea? Absolutely. Will a big budget save a subpar idea? Absolutely Not. Will a small budget break a great idea? Absolutely not. If the insight is accurate, and the copy crisp, execution becomes a secondary consideration; one of many pillars supporting your concept. A big spend will undoubtedly elevate a concept, but the idea needn't be shelved without one. When I used to work as a Copywriter, I often heard the phrase "anyone can write." But when they were asked to write a copy, they used to ask me what to write. A few of them may have been able to crack a headline, but they didn’t know what to write next. So, I decided to spill the beans about how to write a copy. Rather, what are the elements of a copy? This is known as the 6 Ps of a sellable marketing copy. 1. Prospect Prospect is the person or persons you’re trying to sell. It means knowing your audience. The key to reaching your prospect’s mind is to make them feel like you’re speaking directly to them. Don’t try to please everyone. This will make your copy generic and your potential clients will click away in seconds. 2. Premise A premise is a proposition supporting a certain conclusion. It ties your entire piece into a single narrative within your prospect’s brain. Your copy should have four things - unpredictable and attention-grabbing, simple and clear but not dumbed down, Tangible and real for your audience, and credible which means people should believe it. 3. Promise A promise is an assurance that you will do something for your prospects. Make them better people with your offerings. 4. Picture Paint a picture of how your product or service is going to make your prospect’s life better. After reading your copy, they should be able to relate to the story and think “Hey, that’s me!” 5. Proof Proof is important as at the end of the day, everyone makes emotion-based decisions, Proof justifies why they’re making a purchase or signing up for a program. 6. Push Push is a collection of all the other segments in place. When all the above-mentioned elements are in place push happens automatically. #Copywriting #CopywritingTips
