[2024 Early Talent Forum: A Journey of Growth and Connection] 💡❓ How does Hilti nurture young talent with growth opportunities? In October, I had the opportunity to participate in the 2024 Early Talent Forum in Shanghai for A1 countries in Northeast Asia 🌏. This forum allowed me to engage with talented individuals from diverse countries, exchange cultural insights with them, and broaden my perspective. It was a refreshing break from my daily work routine, allowing me to deeply reflect on my career development and teamwork skills. Through various team activities 🤝, sessions with industry leaders, and Mastering Impactful Communication (MIC) training, I was able to learn the importance of teamwork, effective communication and feedback. MIC training, in particular, helped me not only to communicate with others but also to engage in self-reflection, envisioning my future career path with greater clarity. Throughout the event, the talents from each country shone in their own colors, pushing themselves beyond their limits. This journey was filled with warmth and joy 😊❣. Over four days, I experienced personal growth, embraced the spirit of “Why Not?”, and internalized the importance of mutual support. Our digital networking session this week was the first of its kind. In addition to representatives from Hallingdal, we were joined by Maria Sellfors and Raluca Rohatin from Accenture Nordics, and mentor Sam Sorodi A4 Coaching and Consulting. Through our digital platform and network, we aim to: 🌿 Connect skilled international job seekers with employers across Norway. 🌿 Help employers recruit and retain talent. Hallingdal is actively recruiting for both public and private sector roles. In small communities like this, 60-70% of private sector jobs are filled through local networks. By leveraging Sammen om en jobbs network, we can help broaden their reach. 💚 As Staffan said: “You need to know someone on the inside, but we can change that—or at least be the people you know!” 150 participants joined our digital networking event ✅ 27 in IT & technology ✅ 14 engineers ✅ 9 in economy & finance ✅ 16 in HR & administration ✅ 54 in other fields ✅ 80% of the participants will move for the right job.
