🎉 What a way to wrap up 2024 in APAC! On Tuesday afternoon, we hosted our final APAC event for 2024 with the 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗶𝗻 𝗥𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄 𝗡𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗗𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗸𝘀 for TA, HR, and P&C leaders in Melbourne at the trendy 𝗟𝗮 𝗗𝗶 𝗗𝗮, 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗴𝗻𝗲 𝗟𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗴𝗲. It was an incredible gathering of industry peers, insightful discussions, and a celebratory toast to the year that has been - and what a quick year it has been. A huge 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗸 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘁𝗼 Avature and the brilliant Adam Walker for sharing his 2025 insights, your perspectives continue to shape and inspire how we approach the evolving talent landscape, and ever advancing world of People Tech. Of course, we couldn’t end without a laugh, who knew HR needed a theme song? (the Votes were split between “Under Pressure” by Queen, “Take This Job and Shove It” by Johnny Paycheck, “Don’t Stop Believin’” by Journey or “I Will Survive” by Gloria Gaynor). To everyone who joined us throughout the year, your passion, willingness to share, and collaboration make events like these not just valuable, but unforgettable. Here's to an even more innovative and impactful 2025! #TALiNTPartners #Networking #TalentAcquisition #HRLeaders #YearInReview #MelbourneEvents #ThankYou Kris Clelland Samantha Stanwell Raman Richards

💡 One significant takeaway from last week's successful breakfast event for HR Leaders, "DE&I in Pharma: A Dilemma or a Key Business Strategy?" was the need for more networking opportunities dedicated to HR and DE&I professionals. These opportunities would allow them to discuss challenges, share solutions, and draw inspiration from one another. We believe that fostering such connections is crucial for advancing DE&I initiatives and driving sustainable business success. 📣 We'd love to hear from you: Would you be interested in more DE&I-specific networking opportunities in Switzerland? Your feedback will help us shape future events and initiatives. #DEI #HRLeaders #Networking #InclusionMatters #FutureOfWork #diversity #equity #inclusion Please like, share, and comment to join the conversation! 🌟 Merve Macit Manuela Roth Michèle Moser Claire Rutherford Antonio Pavese Daria Tyuvina Nicolas Franco Saavedra (He/Him) Angela Unternährer Tama Perez Giannopoulos Valerie Priestley Jeanette Grommé-Pétremand Francesca Ficcadenti Camille Vignard

I had the incredible opportunity to attend the #HRSymposium in the beautiful Hunter Valley this week. The event brought together 120 of the most influential HR leaders from across Australia and New Zealand for two days of insightful discussions, networking, and learning. In addition to having the privilege of leading a discussion on O.C. Tanner's Global Culture Report, in a "choose your own adventure" format with Alex Franklin (I promise I was having more fun than my face suggests in the photo), I also had the delight of soaking up insights from a range of outstanding speakers. Key Takeaways: Prudence Pitter, MBA, SPHR, GPHR shared some fantastic insights on wellness and psych safety including being concious of the tone that is set when the same person speaks first, and the importance of being deliberate. Mike Bollinger gave us 5 tips on fostering innovation and agility, including excellent advice to embrace the content creator economy. Michael Kim told us all AI isn't scary and then proceeded to tell two terrifying Terminator-esc stories 😂 before putting our minds at ease and encouraging us to leverage AI to create time for human interaction. Anne Das Gupta blew us all away with her vulnerable and direct breakout session on DE&I. I loved all the points, especially - if you're being hired as a change maker ask for permission to make the leadership team uncomfortable and gaining that sponsorship upfront before you say yes! I listened into a fireside chat on sponsorship vs. mentorship with Rashida Lowe & Katrina Dawson and learned how to enact sponsorship as a bias disruptor. As well as insightful panel discussions on finding or authentic voice and equality... the list goes on. Beyond the sessions, the symposium was intentional in creating time to connect with fellow HR professionals, exchange ideas, and build lasting relationships. A huge thank you to Ashton Media Stacey Goater, Rosanna McConnachie and team for organising such a fantastic event. I left feeling inspired and equipped with fresh ideas. Looking forward to next year’s symposium! #HRSymposium #HumanResources #EmployeeWellbeing #DiversityAndInclusion #ContinuousLearning

#EmployeeResourceGroups #ERGs #InclusiveWorkplaces #HR #Talent Last week was a busy but fulfilling week! ⭐Started the week in Vegas speaking to the #EPICHR audience on the "ERG Talent Advantage" and meeting some amazing new connections, vendors, and resources that I will be highlighting soon ⭐Spoke to a great group at @Miracosta College in a panel discussion on vetting inclusive employers ⭐Sat on another great panel with @Maclean, with a virtual audience of HR leaders. ⭐Finally, I got to meet @Maceo in person and engage with some ERG advocates on a panel (met @Kris In Person too!) and in small group interactions, ending the week on a high note at the Los Angeles stop of the #ERGEngagement tour. Here are a few highlights for leaders from my week: ✅ Don't miss out on developing your engaged talent and internal hiring within the race to attract the best and innovate. Your ERGs can be a powerhouse when supported and incorporated into the business strategy, including hiring and retention. ✅The world of work is becoming more global. To build an inclusive workforce, leverage cultural awareness training and inclusive programs such as ERGs & BRGs. Your ERGs can serve as regional and chapter ambassadors and advocates, influencing program design and culture. ✅You are screening candidates, they are screening you too. What will potential applicants find about your organization? More importantly, will diverse candidates find you? ✅Launching ERGs is just the first phase. How are you supporting them? I get energized being in community with ERG leaders—that's not work for me. The core of my "work" is with executive leaders, people managers, and individual contributors who need to be allies and advocates. @EQImindset is derived from the three words EQuity, Inclusion, and Mindset. It's about employee resource groups and meeting companies and leaders where they are while pushing the message across the organization to take them where they need to be with their internal communities. I get by with a full week, but, more importantly, a whole and purposeful one energizes me and keeps me going. I hope you have a purpose-filled week, everyone! If you are a new connection from last week, Follow ups are happening this week ❤️❤️❤️ Email: [email protected]

Honored to have participated in the thought-provoking "Catalyst of HR" event organized by Pro touch, delving into the practical implementation of Diversity & Inclusion strategies! I thoroughly enjoyed dynamic brainstorming session led by industry experts. Their insights ignited stimulating discussions, shedding light on actionable steps to foster inclusive workplaces. Diving into discussions on such crucial topics underscores the importance of fostering inclusive environments in every aspect of our professional lives. From hiring practices to company culture, Diversity & Inclusion isn't just a buzzword; it's a necessity for growth and innovation. Events like these aren't just about absorbing information; they're about actively engaging with diverse perspectives, challenging our assumptions, and collectively shaping the future of our organizations. The power of collaboration and shared knowledge truly shines in such environments. One another highlight for me was the opportunity to network with industry leaders and many HR professionals as this cultivates a community of like-minded individuals committed to driving positive change. These interactions not only enrich our understanding but also open doors to new opportunities and collaborations. By forging meaningful relationships and exchanging ideas, we strengthen our ability to effect real-world impact. A heartfelt thank you to Dr. Aparna Sethi, Rahul Sethi, and the entire Pro touch team for bringing us together to champion Diversity & Inclusion. Let's continue these conversations and actions beyond the event, driving positive change one step at a time! #CatalystofHR #DiversityandInclusion #NetworkingBenefits

Hospitality thrives on diverse experiences, but we sometimes overlook talent. If there’s one struggle every F&B business or large event struggles with, it’s finding talent. Inclusivity can be a game-changer in a talent-scarce industry. Meet Tiaga, a seasoned service professional who looked great on paper. We were so excited to interview him, and everything went smoothly. However, Thiaga revealed that an accident had left him with limited physical mobility. While his energy and enthusiasm were high, he may not be as quick on his feet as some other staff. His upfront nature and resilience inspired us. Instead of letting his skills go untapped, we embraced his potential. We transitioned him to become our training lead, where his expertise now empowers an entire team. > Tiaga’s story is a powerful reminder of the hidden talent we miss when we lack inclusivity. >> That’s not all. The business benefits of hiring a diverse team are convincing. Here’s why embracing it is more crucial than ever: 🔹 Access a Broader Talent Pool Inclusivity expands your reach, so you tap into underserved talent pools rich with potential. 🔹 Boost Employee Retention Employees who feel valued and supported for their unique strengths are more likely to stay, reducing costly turnover in a challenging recruitment landscape. 🔹 Enhance Innovation & Creativity Diverse teams bring a wider range of perspectives and experiences, leading to more innovative solutions and a richer guest experience. 🔹 Strengthen Your Employer Reputation Inclusive practices attract top talent, boosting your reputation as an attractive, forward-thinking employer. Thiaga’s story is just one example. Do you have thoughts and experiences with building inclusive teams? #hr #Inclusivity #culture

On this International HR Day, I find myself reflecting on a journey that was never planned, yet has become my greatest source of inspiration. HR found me, and I never knew I wanted it until I began. It's been a remarkable path, filled with unexpected joys and challenges. What stands out most is how it's never been about me. Every success, every milestone reached, has been a collective effort. It's the collaboration with incredible teams, the trust of founders, and the dedication of every individual that has fueled the success of HR within the organizations I've been fortunate to work with. From setting up functions from scratch to nurturing teams into their best selves, the experience has been nothing short of transformative. Working mostly with startups, where every member counts, I've learned to see HR through unconventional lenses. Building culture, assembling A-teams, and fostering environments of happiness and health have always been my guiding lights. As we celebrate International HR Day, let's remember that HR isn't just a department; it's the heartbeat of an organization. It's about empowering people, fostering growth, and shaping the very soul of a company. Here's to the HR professionals around the world who strive every day to make workplaces better, one step at a time. Cheers to the journey, the challenges, and the endless possibilities ahead! #HRday #HRcommunity #HRprofessionals #HumanResource #InternationalHRday
