I am thrilled to share that I have successfully passed the NISM-Series-XV: Research Analyst Certification with 77.75%. The reasons behind writing the NISM Research Analyst exam was to expand my horizon from valuation to equity research report writing, and its relevance in becoming an independent equity research analyst. Anyone sceptical about starting a career into the finance realm can consider NISM exams to understand the nuances of the financial market. It covers financial rudimentary concepts very concisely. I have been working into VALUATION for quite sometime and wasn't expecting the syllabus to be that vast. NISM Research Analyst Certification exam covers everything from the economic analysis, industry analysis, company analysis to valuation and risk return measurements. I am going to share a few of my experiences you may consider before writing the exam: 1) Don't take this exam lightly even if you are from a finance background. The exam covers topics like economic analysis, industry analysis, company analysis and valuation in great depth. 2) The NISM resources are enough to clear the concepts however not enough for questions practice. You may consider purchasing pass4sure practice materials for under Rs 500 cost. 3) This exam requires serious preparation and tremendous practice. Company analysis and valuation alone covers 32% of the syllabus. These two chapters are very important from the exam point of views and interviews perspective, if planning for a career as a financial analyst or investment banker. Thank you for sticking with me this far 😊 Please follow me for more concepts like these 🙏🙏 #nism #researchanalyst #financialanalyst #investmentbanking #finance #valuation
Congrats! And thanks for sharing the experience ☺️
