Recently, I sat down with my husband Felix Flemming and asked him what he thinks about my work at Deutsche Telekom. His answers were honest, funny, and heartwarming—and reminded me of why I’m proud to be a part of this journey every day. So, here is what he told me: What do you tell your colleagues and friends about my work? I keep telling my colleagues and friends, that I am the smaller fish in the family since Evi is responsible for a much larger group of people. We both care about the colleagues that we lead, and I am truly proud of how Evi does this in her area of responsibility. Everyone is important to her. Being a woman in a tech environment is for sure not easy but she mastered it. Do you like magenta? I have nothing against magenta, otherwise I would have married the wrong woman 😊 And it goes for sure well with blue, the main brand color of my past and current employer 😉. How do you think my life changed for the better as I joined Deutsche Telekom? When the two of us moved together as a young couple years ago, Evi started to work for the magenta T. If that was not a change for the better… And beside that, this was for Evi a change from a small family-owned business to a global player. I am convinced that Evi needed such a large employer to develop and grow to what she is today. A leader with magenta #werkstolz.   Over the last 20 years, I’ve been lucky to witness and be a part of Deutsche Telekom’s evolution—from a local telecom provider in Germany to the 🌎 global telecommunications player, connecting people especially across Europe and the US. 🚀 It’s incredible to see how much we’ve grown, not only as a company but also in our commitment to putting customers first and leading the way in digital innovation. For me, it’s also been a journey of personal growth 💪. I’ve moved across different locations and departments and, just last year, took on the challenge of transitioning into a new role in IT. Each new step has expanded my skills, given me fresh perspectives.
