What an experience as a Pro Bono Consultation Workshop contributor! 4 EMEA employees teamed up to help a Non-for-Profit tackle a operational challenge. Action Familiale is a Mauritius-based organization that helps families and children in their day-to-day struggles. The challenge was to initiate a transition from full paper to a cost-effective online centralized HR system. We used Socratic questioning to get a 360 understanding, pulled together our IT, HR, Coaching, and Programmatic expertise to initiate a modernization journey. Key takeaways: pros and cons of the available solutions on the market, feature requirements, prioritization for deployment, mapping of Mauritius vacation system into online profiles, best practices for a better user buy-in. Thanks Sean Rungen and Jeffrey Kong for trusting us. I hope the action plan and templates we designed will help address Action Familiale in its transformation journey. Keep us updated. Appreciation Post. ✨✨✨ The HR Newbies movement/community is growing and expanding. Thank you to everyone for trusting us and believing in the vision. Our impact story won’t be complete without you. From a movement, it has grown to be a global community of like-minded individuals hungry for growth. We have HR Newbies from Nigeria, South Africa, Ghana, Cameroon, the UK, Canada, etc. We plan to reach more HR Newbies beyond these countries. It has been a rewarding journey and experience. A journey that started with 980 followers 10 months ago, we are now at 11,843+ followers. The testimonies, feedback, comments, referrals and mentions are proof that we are on the right track. Our ultimate goal to see HR Newbies worldwide scale, navigate, and thrive in their HR Careers has not changed; rather, it has improved. We aim to produce HR Newbies that are solid, grounded and fit for the HR profession. In the coming months and years, we will be setting up systems and structures designed to ensure top-notch delivery. Of such will be our first physical meet and greet, annual convention, registering with and joining the global HR community, launching our training academy (physically and virtually) worldwide and lots more.
