Huge kudos to the staff at the Freshwell Surgery in Essex for taking a stand on nutrition that is guided by science and human evolution rather than markets and convenience and thanks Olly Leicester for sharing this. The savings to the national purse if everyone adopted this could be huge. So many of the chronic diseases, that cost us billions, could be avoided. On top of this, the population would be more productive with better energy levels and less brain fog, not to mention the days off work. That’s got to be a win for GDP right? Then there’s the even more important impact of people just feeling good! And when things do go wrong, there might be a not-so-stretched medical care system to intervene in a timely and effective way filled with medical staff who… feel good about going to work. With the money saved we could be helping ourselves transition to regenerative agriculture that would provide the very food on the plate, ensuring that it is super nutrient dense as well as being of benefit to the wider biosphere.
