CBSE has taken a significant step towards revolutionizing education by introducing 50% competency-focused questions in 10th and 12th board exams! This move aligns perfectly with the vision of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, which emphasizes competency-based learning. At our organization Sri Aurobindo Society Rupantar , we've been advocating for Competency-Based Learning (CBL) and Competency-Based Assessment (CBA) for a while now. I believe that CBL focuses on developing specific skills and competencies in students, rather than just imparting knowledge. CBA, on the other hand, assesses students' mastery of these competencies, providing a more accurate picture of their learning. By introducing competency-focused questions, CBSE is taking a significant step towards shifting the focus from rote learning to meaningful learning. This will not only enhance student learning outcomes but also prepare them for the challenges of the 21st century. #CompetencyBasedLearning #CompetencyBasedAssessment #NEP2020 #CBSE #EducationReform #SriAurobindo #HolisticEducation
