They had a Waterstone to resolve their water problems. Do we have one? No, but we have something better: an opportunity to save what remains. Be the change. Let's not only conserve water but regenerate it through organic choices. Fact Check: Excessive use of chemical pesticides and synthetic fertilizers runs off into water bodies with rain, creating water dead zones worldwide and depleting water levels significantly. Organic farming methods, supported by proper soil science, can combat this issue and regenerate soil, water quality and water level. *** Every movie has a message, and I love watching these pieces of art. Recently, I watched "Latte and the Magic Waterstone." It depicts a forest suffering from severe drought, where animals are desperate to save every drop of water. They lose their last source of water due to Latte the hedgehog and Tjum the squirrel. The story follows their perilous journey to retrieve a magical waterstone, facing deceiving wolves, ghostly bears, and a fearful forest. Watch the rest of their adventure to see what happens next. *** Ramveer Tanwar (PondMan), Oceanlux CCU Climate-tech Architecture, are making significant strides in environmental conservation. "MIRACLE." That's all I heard from our client when the job was finished. They asked how we did it, and I said, "SIMPLE. We gave the birds what they wanted." Some people don't believe the simplicity of it, but results are verified! Start with baiting the birds and getting them use to eating the same meal everyday. That is where our Prebait mixed grains comes into play. This episode, my guest is bee expert Kevin Hancock. Kevin has invented a honeybee nest box that’s the only self-regulating honey harvesting system in the world, meaning the bees will dictate how much honey you can take dependent on the environment that year. It’s a way of hosting rather than keeping bees and is an intriguing system. https://zurl.co/T4eb

A few years ago I had the opportunity to join James Turitto on a methane hunting mission in Lower Austria. It demonstrated to me in immediate, physical terms that leaks throughout the oil and gas production supply chain are as routine as breath. Looking through the OGI camera, I jokingly thought to myself watching a puff here, a cloud there, "welp, there's the burger I ate, or the car trip here." Focusing exclusively on demand side emissions while ignoring the lowest hanging fruit that is supply side waste is bananas. Whether you want to shut it down tomorrow or drill, baby, drill - the fact remains that production is happening right now. The stakes to adequately oversee and prevent waste and pollution have never been higher. The fact is that doing a job well requires a exponentially more workers doing that job. Think of literally anything, and I bet having more staff would improve the outcome of the service, product, or reduce externalities. But it's not just about creating jobs, it's about the quality of the jobs. Workers must possess enough rights and stability to do the job well and in the public's benefit. 𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐃𝐢𝐟𝐟𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐫 𝐓𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐆𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐬 Trials of the new Diffuser and EcoBird 4.0 in various locations around New Zealand, including packhouses, warehouses, cafés, and garages, have shown great results. Bird pressure is assessed by counting birds before and after application over two and four weeks. Initially, the use rate is around 50mls/week, which decreases over time. Birds become sensitised to the particles and avoid treated areas. In a Pipfruit packhouse, no birds were seen roosting after four weeks of treatment. https://bit.ly/EcoBird4

My friends, if you want to be part of the solution, then consider creating a CSA - community supportive agriculture! The benefits and services that will result from this model will be exponential… For instance, we are not only providing food for our members, but we are also growing out plants, mostly perennials that will be planted in their yards… We also have weekly cooking classes to show people how to use the abundance that their yards can produce. We have designed this model to be rapidly scalable, also putting together the support network… We must create a new poison free, food supply chain. This is the way! https://lnkd.in/ghyXH7Vu

🌊 Blue wAIve Company Spotlight: Blue Latitudes, LLC🌊 We're thrilled to shine the spotlight on Blue wAIve Accelerator participant Blue Latitudes, a women-owned marine environmental consulting firm dedicated to transforming offshore platforms into permanent artificial reefs. As part of their participation in the #BluewAIve program, we're excited to support Blue Latitudes in the development of FishLAT (Fisheries Location Assessment Technology). FishLAT is a web app-based spatial planning tool designed to integrate location-specific fisheries and ecological data to create a comprehensive ecosystem-based approach to offshore energy planning. 🐠 The Impact? FishLAT will ensure that regulators, operators, and other ocean users have access to the best available science and data to help them make decisions regarding platform reefing or removal, and decisions on future wind energy development, siting and installation. Just as important, FishLAT will also highlight existing data gaps and therefore serves to inform regulators of future studies that may improve our understanding of platform ecology and mitigative solutions to environmental impacts. Join us in applauding Blue Latitudes for their visionary work and stay tuned for more updates. Learn more about FishLAT here: https://www.fishlat.com/ The Blue w(AI)ve Accelerator program is a 16-week accelerator focused on the intersection of #artificialintelligence and #bluetech. This program is made possible by funding from the Maine Technology Institute and is a collaborative effort between Gulf of Maine Research Institute's Ventures team, The Roux Institute at Northeastern University, and the Institute for Experiential AI at Northeastern University. #BluewAIve #CompanySpotlight #BlueLatitudes #MarineConservation #SustainableEnergy #Innovation #WomenInSTEM
