Be someone who follows through with what you say. Be honest with prospects. And only enroll clients who are a great fit. You must always lead prospects to the best decision for them EVEN IF that decision is outside of their comfort zone. Take a stand for what’s BEST for people. This is not an easy job, but it pays well. To earn the income that’s possible for you here… you must be willing to put in hours honing your craft and doing everything you can to 1) generate opportunities 2) close them. You must be hungry. Wherever you are in relation to your projections, you must know why. If you’re ahead, you must know what you’re doing well and what needs to be reinforced. If you’re behind, you must have the awareness to know WHY you're behind. Proactive behavior will create awareness. And your awareness will allow you to adjust your behavior to get the results. Corporate Sales vs Remote High Ticket Closing I was in both corporate sales & remote high ticket closing for the exact same amount of time ( 2yrs and 4 months each ) However the outcome of each were extremely different ... My Experience In Corporate Sales - Long sales cycle = The sales cycle was extremely long meaning I would often have to wait 3 - 12months to see any reward on the appointments I had booked or deals I had closed, this was frustrating as time kills deals and as time goes on more things can go wrong such as : more decision makers involved, third parties involved or even worse the job gets called off. - Long career progression = One thing I could never get my head round was the time you had to be in the industry to earn a certain income, it never made sense, why couldn't you just be paid for your performance and not your time ?, I had worked alongside many great sales guys who were very talented yet they struggled to make £75k+/yr as they were in their mid 20's so had to ' climb the corporate ladder' to be able to earn a better income. - Full Sales Cycle = When working in corporate sales I was a full cycle sales rep which looking back certainly allowed me to get very good at sales quickly. But as years went on I started to understand how low ROI certain tasks I was doing were and If I spent all of my time just simply doing one thing ( I.e, Closing Appointments ) I could have much greater output My Experience In Remote High Ticket Closing - Short Sales Cycle = As a remote high ticket closer because I was working for an online business who sells online education ( programs, mentorships that are $3k+ ) and as a result I was having warm Inbound leads booked into my calendar. Meaning they already knew who we were, what we do and they expressed interest and as a result these calls were now primed for a 1 call close. Therefore I would know on that exact call or at the very latest 48hrs later If that deal had closed or not. - Short Career Progression = I was now 100% commission only which to many people in the corporate world scares them as they don't like the feeling of not having that safety of a salary. But for me it was perfect as I was now paid for my performance and not my time meaning I can get a far greater output at the end of the month. If you were talented and good at selling it didn't matter what age you were the vehicle of remote closing gave you the opportunity to earn $10,000 - $20,000 per month in your first 3 - 6 months of being in the space. -1 Call Close = Instead of being a full cycles sales rep, all I had to now do was take 4-6 warm inbound calls on teams/zoom per day that are booked into my calendar and I was paid 10% commission per deal I closed ( most programs were $3k - $15k ) I did't have to do any cold calling, prospecting or finding people's phone number, I could simply just close people that's it, nothing more nothing less. This allowed me to master one skill fully as it was the only skill.
