Sustainable Hotel News’ Post

We were delighted to talk to Natalie Campbell CEO Belu, a social enterprise which invests 100 per cent of its profit in pursuit of its purpose: to change the way the world sees water.  Natalie spoke about why hotels choose Belu, her work with WaterAid, what hotels want when it comes to guests' water, biodiversity credits, working with waterways and rivers instead of carbon offsetting, and calling out those operators and brands which are not walking the talk ... "The larger hotel groups want to know what we are doing around wellbeing and mental health... The smaller suppliers want to meet us and understand what we are doing for small hotel chains, what we are doing for Water Aid, how they can get involved, and to understand nature-based solutions." #water #waterpoverty #circularity #hotels #suppliers #scope3 #ESG

I enjoyed this chat as Natalie was so honest about how things are – something she is also hopeful of others, across hotels and sustainability, being more open about next year.
