Colleagues consistently tell us their people leader is their most trusted source of communication – particularly when it comes to helping them join the dots of our strategy, and understanding how they’ll contribute to it. So, I was delighted to lead one of our regular sessions for recently recruited senior leaders to Yorkshire Building Society. This was an opportunity for them to really explore our strategic ambitions, understand the direction the business is taking, and crucially, how we’re going to collectively get there. I always leave these sessions feeling energised and assured that we have the right people in post to really bring our strategy to life for their teams, as well as delivering for our customers.
