We had the pleasure of feeding back another set of results to a company today. Some of the highlights include: 81% decrease in the number of people reporting moderate to severe levels of anxiety. From 30% to 6% of the attendees. Increase in productivity of 25.3 mins per day per person. 100% think this programme should be rolled out on a wider basis. Based on the outcomes, we believe they have generated a return to the organisation of 17.7 / for every £1 spent or an ROI of £397k. 100% agree that applying the skills enabled them to work, feel or live better. The application of skills across areas is high. 84% use the skills with their team, and 74% use them with their family.

🌟🌟Great news passed my re - accreditation -The GC Index 🌟🌟 What is the GC Index The GC Index® is a tool that helps employers identify the strengths of their team members and understand the impact each individual will make. Having this valuable insight lets employers take informed decisions about who is best suited for different roles and how to create the right environment for them to thrive. The GC Index is a radical rethink of how organisations identify and nurture key talent and how people at all levels in the organisation make their best impact. What are the proclivities of the GC Index? The GC Index is a framework that identifies and celebrates individuals' proclivities toward five different roles: Game Changer, Play Maker, Strategist, Implementer, and Polisher. Every organisation needs Game Changing individuals How it benefits business -Diversity, Equity and Inclusion? Businesses can benefit by deliberately mixing up teams, bringing together a melting pot of different talents, each with their own strengths. By blending genders, ages and cultural backgrounds, amazing things can happen. When a variety of experiences and perspectives are brought together, inspiration is often the result. Individuals should not have to walk through the door of the office and leave part of themselves behind; by bringing 100% of their self to work, they will no longer have to hold back when it comes to drawing upon their unique thoughts and ideas

Meet our Nordic Talent, Learning and Development Manager, Staffan Paulsson 📦 At DS Smith we believe that everyone should have access to development opportunities that are tailored to their unique needs, skills, goals and interests. We do that by offering a range of opportunities, programmes and resources to help acquire new skills, build capability and look beyond the current role to meet future aspirations. October was Learning and Development Awareness Month at DS Smith 🚀 Here are three valuable tips to focus on Learning and Development in our daily business, not only during October, but in the fast pace everyday life. 1. Learning share - Start your meetings by taking a couple of minutes to share a business topic that people can learn from you. By sharing our insights, we can leverage the collective competence within our team. 2. Dedicate time for formal learning - Invest time in yourself and schedule time for learning in your calendar. Maybe an article, an e-course or a webinar. What about an AI-course? 3. Learning reflection – Spend a couple of minutes and reflect on what you have learned in the last week. With today’s fast-paced environment, I can promise you that you most likely have learned a lot in your daily work. Every week. Every day.
