#DidYouKnow Only 34% of glass is actually recycled. 🥛 Glass packaging – such as that used in soft drink bottles, wine and liquor bottles, food jars, and cosmetics – is fully recyclable. Unfortunately, only 34 percent of glass is recycled. Over half of packaging made from glass is landfilled. This equates to throwing away millions of dollars of environmentally-sustainable product every year. #thursdaywisdom #intrestingfacts #recycling #packaging #sustainablity #ecofriendly #waste
Very informative... Who should drive this initiative? The Waste Management dept in the City corporations? Large enterprises?

1dYeah... but then not only glass but plastic pens, batteries and any more things are send to landfills, albeit due to no policy....infact the producing companies can bring back those empty things thru their retailer, by getting some scheme where customers also gain from pricing point and factories get to use recycled things thereby bringing production cost down. Just a thought....
