Another bold move, holding on to ott/satellite rights & negotiating the same after release. # Aavesham hits the jackpot with a 35 cr digital deal. With Fafa headlining Aavesham, there is always the temptation of pre-sale as a safety filter. But no! the Malayalam industry is bold & the bold break records & win, every time! # The fact that pre-sale is dwindling (not an option), in the Malayalam industry is actually a blessing in disguise as film makers are evaluating scripts and making films primarily from a theatrical POV, which is the way it should be. # My firm belief - films are meant for the big screen & not devices!

Three KBM Works Adapted into Films: A Golden Opportunity for the Creative Industry Exciting news for the creative industry! The opportunity for stories from the KBM App to be adapted into short films and even go viral is now more accessible than ever. The latest collaboration between KBM App and the Kuningan film community, which includes ASIC Film, Roemah Film Affandi, and Lakon Cara, with support from the Head of Creative Economy of Kuningan Regency, has yielded remarkable results. On Sunday, April 21, 2024, at Rumah Makan Mayang in Kuningan, West Java, two films adapted from stories on the KBM App were screened. These films are collections of short stories from the KBM App, featuring the romance and horror genres. This proves that not only domestic stories can succeed, but also other genres such as romance and horror. The event was attended by Dading Fajarudin, S.Si, III.b, and Diki Damamudin, Owner of Moreplay Entertainment, who provided full support for this project. This project demonstrates that the opportunity for KBM App works to be adapted into short films and even go viral is widening. With more stories from the KBM App being adapted into short films, the creative industry has a great opportunity to explore various genres and bring them to the big screen.
