Over the course of our lives, we are taught many things about our history, our bodies, and the nature of the world around us. We are told to implicitly trust facts, scientific research, and the writings of brilliant scholars without considering the limits they may impose upon our beliefs. What if we were taught what was POSSIBLE instead of what IS? In this episode of Looking 4 Healing Radio, Dr. H opens the show with a brief recap of current events and makes an interesting observation about the contradictory nature of the topic of inclusivity. https://lnkd.in/gFk3aCp3

### The Intriguing Discipline of Neurogastronomy Neurogastronomy, the study of how the brain perceives flavor, blends neuroscience, psychology, and culinary art. This field explores how taste, smell, sight, sound, and touch contribute to our eating experience. Recent research has revealed that flavor perception is not just about taste buds but involves complex brain processes. For example, the color and texture of food can significantly influence how we perceive its flavor. Furthermore, neurogastronomy has practical applications in developing healthier food options that are still enjoyable to eat, and in creating therapeutic diets for patients with altered taste perception due to medical conditions. #Neurogastronomy #FlavorScience #BrainAndFood
