World's largest Elections: Voting in 21 states across India begins for 102 seats of Lok Sabha! The Lok Sabha Elections of 2024 commenced today amidst heightened anticipation and fervor, with the BJP spearheading an ambitious campaign to secure a whopping 370 seats, led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Amit Shah. Setting an even higher benchmark, the NDA aims for a target of 400 seats. This monumental election, touted by the BJP as a stepping stone towards 2047 and by the Opposition as a battle for democracy's essence, began with the first phase of voting spanning 102 seats across 21 states and Union Territories.
